Worst experience ever using this app. As well as banks don’t trust western union. Other apps you can give less information and the money goes through. Frustrating and wasted so much time. Back button gets is hidden in top left hand corner. Have to restart app to continue. I’d rather eat glass than deal with WU

I have use this app for years everything goes well until one day out of nowhere it won’t allow me to send money overseas anymore and when I contact the customer service she has no clue what to do she has no knowledge to solve a problem at all

WU’s default assumption is that every customer is a potential criminal using the platform for nefarious purposes. After sending regular small amounts to a friend, suddenly WU blocks my use of the app permanently for no clear reason. All customer support is AI, designed to avoid any contact with customers and is incapable of answering any questions you ask of it. I spent over an hour trying to contact them and send the required documentation that they were demanding but even when they were given the required information, I’m still blocked. It’s a waste of time using WU. They don’t care whether you use their service or not. There are many other companies that have far superior customer support. I’d rather sit in the gutter and rub gravel in my eyes than use WU ever again.
