Not worth the frustration
WU’s default assumption is that every customer is a potential criminal using the platform for nefarious purposes. After sending regular small amounts to a friend, suddenly WU blocks my use of the app permanently for no clear reason. All customer support is AI, designed to avoid any contact with customers and is incapable of answering any questions you ask of it. I spent over an hour trying to contact them and send the required documentation that they were demanding but even when they were given the required information, I’m still blocked. It’s a waste of time using WU. They don’t care whether you use their service or not. There are many other companies that have far superior customer support. I’d rather sit in the gutter and rub gravel in my eyes than use WU ever again.

I have been using Western Union from last 8 years, there service was good, but now they are not at all reliable, My account inactive from last 1 month, my account is verified and I did not do any transactions in 2026 but still it is inactive without any notification, I am calling them from last 1 month but still no result.
