Too simple

Wayyy too simple. It advertises simplicity as a positive but really it’s its downfall. No info for what different icons mean, no info can be added about bathrooms, parking, etc and as wheelchair users know not all bathrooms or parking spaces are created equal. This app is about as useful as a Google Maps overview of a place, those at least people can comment on their reviews. Literally any other accessibility map app is better than this one.

Can’t correct false info

I just found this app based in a recommendation in an article I was reading about handicap accessibility. Because I’m familiar with my area I checked out some of the local recommendations to see about accuracy. I noted one location there is completely inaccessible. It has been for two years for anyone with a walker or wheelchair. How can this be corrected? Secondly as one review said some instructions would be helpful. Thirdly even if the bathrooms are accessible, if you can’t get in the building, it doesn’t make any difference. Nice concept app, short on execution. Keep on trying.

Data not accurate and cannot edit locations.

Accidentally added our home address and can’t find any way to remove it!!

Poor information

I looked at about 10 locations around us and every one was incorrect or has no description. Great idea for an app but needs more work s add me some moderation to ensure the information is correct.

Ability to delete incorrect locations

The app needs a way to delete incorrect locations or a way to inform developers to maintain incorrect locations but it would help it say I added a location and I added it wrong I could delete and or amend

Not working

Down loaded 7/14/22 . Map looks great, interface looks great, type in search bar “ restroom , results said no rest rooms in this area. Not I know that the south mall has restrooms and a lot of places in the bay shore area. App doesn’t work.

Help information

If I were to look farther than I have would it show me how to add and edit washrooms or accessibility sites .
I am sure I should have perused this app and it,s variables before writing this .
Can I add a business washroom ….
What are the requirements to add a site ..
does a site need multiple assessments before it can be added .
Not all washrooms are built the same or as accessible to some as to others .

Good concept but no editing tools!

Very easy to add a place but no way of deleting a place added by yourself if adding incorrectly! Will have people queuing up at my home to use the bathroom!!!

Confusing

There are no instructions on how to add locations, nor does it say that you have to be in the location when you add it. ANY kind of guidance would have been helpful.

Disabled parking locations

This App is a great idea and I will be adding locations when I find them not included. I note a couple near me that are not here but I won’t add them until I am at the location to ensure their location is accurate.

My rating is based on limited experience in Sydney. I do not know if local councils have their own maps or if their are other resources that could be accessed to make the contents as complete as is practical/possible.

Good work so far. It’s up to users who to build up its content in Australia.

It’s great that it has international coverage although in these COVID-19 times overseas locations are not as critical for non-travellers.

No way of removing outdated entries!

I’m only giving this app one star because there is no way of removing and updating outdated and inaccurate entries. Therefore, over time this will lead to vulnerable people who are searching for facilities being mislead by this app. Developers, PLEASE update this app to make entries editable! I have already found two entries near to where I live which have been closed and no longer exist.

Great idea! Participate people!

Long ago before social media really took off and map-software was a thing, I thought it would be great to map out the city I lived in San Francisco) for disabled parking, toilets, and accessible buildings. This idea is better, a sort of Waze for wheelchair users. I will use it where I now live but also where I visit. I just returned from Manila and chairists there would benefit hugely from this app. It might even reveal how absolutely horrible accessibility is in some places and how American businesses in those places (Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC, etc., etc.) are equally as bad as local businesses just because they can get away with it.

Great idea but a few suggestions

This app is exactly what wheelchair users and people accompanying them are in need of. My area does not have any locations added so far but I am doing my best to add. A few suggestions:

1. Perhaps find a way for users not to have to enter locations nearby. It sort of defeats the purpose of coming to this app for help if you’re in an area where not everyone knows about it or has taken the time to manually enter locations for others.

2. I understand the two icons on the right are for parking and bathrooms. I do not understand what the icon on the far left represents. Is it for sidewalks that are accessible? Perhaps have the description pop up whenever you select them.

3. It would be nice to change my location in the app to somewhere in another city rather than where it is tracking that I currently am. This helps when planning trips.

This app will probably be more helpful whenever we are in the larger cities we are traveling to, but I think adding in these suggestions would really make it a 5 star app. This is a wonderful start though!!!

Disappointing

This app could be so useful unfortunately lack of information leaves it needing more input

Not much use

This situation is new to me so thought this app would be. Good idea however there are few toilets marked near me and those that are the addresses shown just don't make sense. Better off just going to a supermarket or into a cafe or pub. Where I have had to ask to use the loo they have always been extremely accommodating. I have taken the app off my phone. Good try but not particularly helpful.

Terrible - fields not populated

This app should have been pre-populated using some research by the developers, then ask users to update any errors in it, rather than just publishing it as effectively an empty database and it does not work i.e. update, when you try to populate any of the fields. It also cannot find locations properly & is not user friendly, e.g. listing towns in alphabetical order or having sub-categories for e.g. restaurants, cafes, shopping centres, retail parks, etc. I would be willing to give this app another chance & change this review, if the developer put some work in to it, because most people don't have time to do the developer's job for them. Cannot recommend at this time.

Not impressed

Nothing listed for Southampton except John Lewis & someone's house - then after you click on them for more info, you get sent to your current location instead of where you last looked!

Good App

Please add a satellite and hybrid map view, then the app would be perfect!

Bliss

I downloaded this free application and was doubtfull at first but after adding 10 disabled parking spots around Cyprus and seeing them on a friends phone, i was amazed! Its a fantastic concept that can help disabled everywhere whether a toilet or a parking is needed!
*****
If the creators can please add a way of editing position or deleting a wrong entry that would make it app of the year in my book!

People with disabilities could make this app really useful!

I downloaded this app last night and added a couple of locations that I've used & find acceptable. Too many businesses get away with providing bare bones restrooms, while others have made outstanding efforts! You might try promotion on some sites that have a large user-base of people who use wheelchairs and have a need for safe, clean, functional facilities. Good luck and thanks for your efforts as well. Only 4 stars *today* because you need more human input; will be worth 5 stars when we can get more users to visit & rate your suggested locations, and start adding their own. Thanks so much! :)
