Privacy Issues!!

Found this while looking for an app to simply show speed. Not a fan of the gamification of driving but drive history is useful. That said, $50 a year is super expensive to just save drives.

Update: dev replied with info on free vision - which I appreciate. However I’ve stumbled across larger issues! While reading the privacy policy I’m uncomfortable with their policy of selling my user data even though this is a paid app.

Additionally, I shared the app with a friend and was surprised to see that I could see their exact location and driving details! Digging through the friend settings (which you can only do AFTER a friend has been added) I saw my location was also being shared!! The app didn’t request my permission to share those details with others! This should be off by default!

Hey our app is completely free to use to track unlimited drives and more. We offer an optional pro upgrade for some extra features (it's expensive to run a drive tracking app) but we have a great free version available. We hope that you can change your review with this in mind :)

Für LKW?

Wie wäre es, wenn man Fahrzeuge wechseln könnte? Und vllt eine Sparte für Lkw Fahrer einbringen könnte? Da die Geschwindigkeit ja geringer, aber die Laufleistung höher ist? Also Tage / Wochen / Monats Platzierung?

Leaderboard

I honestly love this app, the way it tracks everything and the newest update honestly feels amazing, the only reason why it’s 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the leaderboard, it doesn’t feel competitive because most of the scores are people flying on airplanes and it throws the leaderboard off by a lot. I wish I could see what my true rank would be if flying wasn’t included because it just seems like the easy way to get to the top.

Avg speed

really liked the avg speed main reason me and alot of my friends had the app i think other people could agree too i feel like there has to be a loophole to add it back under like average pace or something

Notifications

The app works well and is cool you get a lot for not having the premium version, The notifications are so annoying and you can’t use the app without having them enabled, it’s completely pointless to force you to have them on, i don’t need to know every second when a friend goes on a drive, just let me have them off i don’t see a problem.

This app is so much fun and one thing I love about it is that you don’t need the “pro” subscription to use the main features!

Really fun app

Not much bad to say about the app. By far my favorite features are the friends leaderboard and the world map that shows all of your drives while using the app. Everything is super straight forward and essentially automatic, very user friendly app. My only complaint is that it’s annoying when the app detects that my drive is over because I’ve been stuck in traffic and won’t let you merge drives if they’re longer than half a mile I believe. Other than that it’s a great app that I found off of an Instagram ad, I love that you can keep track of the cars your drives were in and if you were a passenger or driver, really lets you keep track of all the roads you been down and where you can explore next.

You need to pay inside this app, and you will see this only after you complete all steps of registration and spent a lot of time.

Hey you DO NOT have to pay to use the app, it is completely FREE to use and track unlimited drives. We offer a pro upgrade in the app for additional features but it is not necessary to purchase to use the app.

Wheelz 🚗💨

I’ve been using Wheelz for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The app is a pleasure to use, the drive tracking is accurate, and the statistics are really interesting for car enthusiasts.

What impressed me the most is the community, and especially the staff. They’re always active, listen to feedback, and take the time to interact with users. They’ve been incredibly kind to me and even gifted me a lifetime Pro membership, which I truly appreciated. It really shows how much they care about their community.

You can tell the whole team is passionate and constantly working to improve the app. It’s rare to see a project with a staff that’s this close to its users. I highly recommend Wheelz without hesitation! 🚗❤️

Some extra thoughts

Very good app and love it! However it would be cool to change coast to coast as I live in Australia and would be cool to see how much coast to coast I do in Australia and change the laps of the Indy 500 to laps of Bathurst/mt panorama just as a bit of extra customisation over really cool app and no 24/7 pop ups like other apps

Phone seems to overheat

I’ve noticed that my phone gets really hot while driving at first I thought it was because it was sitting in the sun in my phone holder but even when I put it in the shadow it gets hot. After a short while I disabled this app and it never happened again… otherwise I like the idea of this app

Does not track.

The app is supposed to track, when you are moving, that does not work. You can not start tracking by yourself. You need to have an abo for the app. Without it the app is just waste of storage. Look for better apps. This one will not solve your problems or needs.

Speed tracker is not accurate and the distance tracker for leaderboards with friends is not updating

Great features, automatic recording and comparison between friends is unique.

Actually a Strava for your car as well as for your motorcycle with super statistics like in video games. :)

Really good app definitely recommend!

I’ve seen bad reviews on this app saying you have to pay for everything but you really don’t. There are paid add ons but they aren’t needed for the basic things you’d expect from this app.

Great Idea but could do better

Seen advertised and seemed like the ultimate car person app. However extremely limited if you dont pay and honestly dont see the reason over other apps to pay. Invited 4 people and none added to the invite 8 ppl to get free prem, especially for such a flooded market with more features or media. Great idea, poorly executed.

One issue is the speed meter is 8-9 kilometers away from the real speed
