What’s with the calls
I’m using an iPad Pro and when I click on the paperclip to access my pics it goes to a failed phone call. How do I fix this?
Miss the larger room sizes
I like the whereby format and ease of use. I do miss being able to have more than 4 people in the room.
Great on Windows but bad for iPad
We use this for all our meetings and works well - except on the iPad, as you cannot screen share in meetings. Sadly now looking at other meetings software to replace whereby!
Whereby basic was great, but Goodbye
Whereby just cut back its Basic/free services, from one on one unlimited to 40 minutes (and I know someone who got cut off at 30 mins last week). This time limit means it's no longer useful for me. Thanks, Whereby, for some wonderful years.
No longer free
I used the app to call my parents but since this week it wants my money. Switched to another solution and put some effort to teach my parent to use something else. Good luck whereby I won't miss you.
Incompatible
The main problem I encountered is that for some reason when this app is installed, IOS fails to recognise .docx and .xlsx files
Causing Docx and Xlxs issues
Haven’t used this app for a while but found out tonight after weeks of problems viewing docx files that the whereby app was the culprit. As soon as I deleted it I was back in the game. Developers need to look into this with many people having this issue and unable to view important documents.

I downloaded this and can no longer open Word files.

Lack of screen share is a deal breaker
I can participate in a family group meeting but a can’t share my screen on an iPad. This, dear friends, disqualifies Whereby for me.

Reliable
Whereby is utterly reliable. I have used it every day for 3 years and it has never let me down. I teach an online yoga class every morning of the year and it has been absolutely excellent. I can simply give people the same link every time and they don’t have to download anything just click the link and they are there. So easy to use and cheap. I absolutely thoroughly recommend it. I have managed to resolve any problems I have had but 99.99% of the time Whereby works perfectly. If you do get any teething problems you will find more likely or not it is at your end but do check the audio and video settings in Whereby and on your device.

Make an update
You really need to make an update where you can screen share on an iPad. I mainly work off of my iPad but because I can’t screen share on it I have to use my PC. Please make the update asap
Great for my elderly dad
This app has been great to keep in touch with my elderly father who is hopeless with tech. With this app he does not need to download an app. All he has to be able to do is click on a link from an email. Thanks so much!
It WAS great now garbage
I have been using for years and loved how it was multi platform and easy to use. But the newest update makes it impossible to use. Me and my friend today tried to use and after an hour gave up

Can’t Share Screen from iOS
Title says it all. The lack of screen sharing really hurts
What video conferencing should be
Free/cheap, simple, easy to use, it works, nice user interface, no booting off after 30 or 40 mins like some better known providers, no pervasive installation of apps. iOS app works well too. As a small business owner who sends meeting invites to clients, the fact that I don’t have to force my clients to download or sign up (a few clicks to access via a browser) is really valuable from a customer service perspective. Have used through the pandemic preferentially over all other options.

A little like zoom
Whereby is a little like zoom. The only problem I’ve had is that the virtual backgrounds don’t come up. If they did, I would change this to 5 star.
