Wanted my exact location, everytime I tried to log in it would say error, wouldn’t let me create a new account, and was tracking my data! Do not download this app!

I didn’t want to put my location in because I don’t want them to track me and I just don’t know if I can trust them but otherwise this is a great app!
Very buggy lots to improve
I love the idea of this app and website and I bet it can be great and really dominate the market however the app on the phone and the website has massive room for improvements.
Unfortunately non of the filters on the app work meaning you’re looking at a lot of horses you’re not interested in which quickly gets boring

Amazing idea but very buggy
Absolutely love the idea of this app. I hate scrolling through webpages to view horses so an app is a much better alternative. I love the design and interface of the app. However it takes forever to load the available horses, and often freezes or doesn’t load pictures. With some tweaking to the bugs this app could be amazing it’s just a shame they let it down so much.

Great idea but hardly ever works
Love the app, it’s great in principle but it crashes constantly. When I can search messages are frequently ignored which I know isn’t the always the app’s fault but it seems so clunky and hard work.
I’m trying to search for a horse… every time I type the height and age and select the disciplines it crashes before I can search.

Hi HeadGroom, thank you for your feedback. I can happily say we have resolved the problem of the app crashing which is resolved in the latest app update which is now available on the App Store. With regards to new messages, please turn on your notifications in your phone settings for Whickr & you'll get notified when you receive a new message. Hope that helps. Poor message service!
Overall the app did the job. Although the message service kept crashing while typing. Very frustrating. This seems to happen more often than not. Hence only 2 stars. Surprised Whickr has not managed to fix this problem as clients keep complaining about it. Moving forward I had to PM any interested parties.

Crashing constantly
Everytime I try to reply to a message on the app it crashes I now have two ppl I can’t reply to as I can’t get their details. I’m wasting so much time trying to contact them and writing the same thing several times I wish I’d stuck to horse quest and if I could get the £25 back I would. :-(

Great for Sellers
I used Whickr to advertise my gelding and couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience. There was lots to love: easy to upload the advert, attach videos and reply to messages. But the best thing was the quality of the buyer. All the potential purchasers were serious and I didn’t come across one time waster on the app which is so rare when selling a horse! It made the experience so stress free for me. My horse has gone to a fabulous knowledgable home. Thanks Whickr- I’ll certainly use you again when it’s time for me to sell my next horse.

I have found this app very easy and useful to use! It is so hard now advertise to sell horses as Facebook has banned it. With this app it allows you to advertise and view horse & ponies for sale.

Wish I could have used this app as it looked so good but everytime I tried to create an account, I’d get the verification email but then it would take me back to the app to say this email already has an account. I therefor tried to put in my username and password (as that’s what it said to do) where I was then later told the account had already been created by that email and that the password was wrong (even though I’d never downloaded the app before) After trying all my email accounts I decided to give up. So gutted!

We recently had to make the difficult decision of finding a home for our fantastic young dressage horse that we have owned since a yearling. We decided to use the Whickr app and our horse found a super home almost immediately. It was also a slick, easy and an efficient process.
