Doesn’t work
I literally can’t use this app. I can’t log in, or create a new account or skip and explore. Everything seems to be an error.
Issues upon download
Just downloaded the app so I could get more solo adventure recommendations in my city. Issues as soon as I gave access to location services. Can’t get past the very first page or sign up. Instantly deleted. It’s not worth the hassle just to sign up and use the services.

The perfect reminder!
This app is fantastic for a gentle reminder that there is way more to do than I even realized in and around Charleston.
I knew I would use it regularly when my email inbox dropped me a note from “megan” with a list of fun goings-on. I actually got off my butt and checked it all out, to my pleasant surprise!
I’m excited to see it grow and can’t wait to learn what’s happening this weekend!

Has a long way to go
Cool concept but still need much more time to develop and gain users. My city is really lacking representation. I reached out to be a reporter for my city so I could promote LGBTQIA+ events weeks ago and still have not received a response.

This is a must have app to navigate everything happening in NYC (and every city it’s in)! It’s so helpful to get recs from locals, and the trending map is my fave feature. Give it a try!

I’m not sure how I haven’t run across this app until now, but I’m SO glad I found their IG page and downloaded the app. I’ve lived in Charleston for a LONG time, and have thought abt how much something like this is needed! I’m a huge music fan, and unless I take the time to search for upcoming shows, I often miss out! And, I esp love the real time updates! I’ll def be supporting this app and stay tuned…. You might just see me as a local reporter soon! 😉

I have been using the Whim app since fall 2020 and I think it’s fantastic. The app is very user friendly and resourceful. Anytime I am trying to figure out where to eat, if there are delays - literally anything -going on in Charleston, Whim typically has my answer.

This was introduced to me by a friend I met in CHS, Whim is that app that helps me get to covid safe social events and helps me find the deals I’m actually looking for when it comes to food to pick out for the best date spots, or areas that look beautiful. Really cannot go wrong downloading and utilizing this app when is high traffic areas to get to the safest, and most adorable events any day! Another part I love is how posts are updated but saved like a story to your profile.

Whim Social is an amazing app. It has made finding stuff to do SO much easier. If you don’t have this app, you need to get it!
Perfect for Finding YOUR spot
Started following Rachel in Charleston to find my ideal work flow coffee spot and sure enough the first one I tried was spot on! She recommended Kudu where I could grab some great coffee while I work and then treat myself to a craft beer after finishing to treat myself. 10/10 would recommend! 💯
Great for travel!
I got this app since it’s based in Charleston (for now) and I go there all the time! As a college student, it’s super cool to see the trends that’s happening around town all day, and it helps my friends and I boil down the plans for the night. My favorite part is posting food😆

This app is so easy to use and you can see what’s going on around you without any problems. You can see a preview of photos, which makes it super easy and fun to navigate. You can also categorize things you’re doing such as outdoor vibes, food, etc., making the app super organized. It’s an awesome way to find out what’s going on in Charleston—the best city in the world!
