Don’t buy this oven
We just moved into this house and the oven is beautiful. However the time was repeatedly off. We’ve tried to update the settings both manually and in the app. The app prompted us to download an update. After that the oven completely stopped working. No screen, nothing. We tried resetting the breaker and nothing. There’s no way to access the screen bc the electrical components stopped working completely after downloading their update!!! All bc the time was wrong on my oven, now I have no oven. What’s heart breaking is that I’m sure the oven works it’s just the electrical components. When you call whirlpool they want you to buy an extended warranty plan for $40 a month or pay $400 for them to come out and take a look. It’s so disappointing and disheartening.

App was good… until it wasn’t
This app USED to be amazing. I had all my favorite settings saved. I just picked which one I wanted and it did its thing and alerted me when it was done.
A few weeks ago they updated the app. It kicked me out and ever since then I can’t reconnect. Support isn’t helping. I’m so frustrated.
The main reason I loved this appliance was that the app told me when to get my laundry.
Please fix the app!!!!

Web function offers 0 value beyond notification of cycle end
The app is created by idiots
Wifi connection stopped working. I am blocked by utter stupidity of the app and its logic: the app says the device must be connected to wifi first. The device says that you have configure the device from the app first. The app is created by clueless idiots
Very disappointed…
We have had going on 6+ calls to our home over this particular washing machine. Only had it for a few months. We are really tired of being without a working washer going on several months now. Will be going back to a different washer brand once we can ever get a return from for a non working washer for us.

Slow and clunky
App keeps auto logging out despite deleting and reinstalling it and ensuring that remember me is enabled. App is also slow and feels clunky and pushes whirlpool ads. App is also very slow to update machine status unless you forcefully quit and reload app.
Would be 5 stars but…
If the app didn’t continuously kick me out every single time I cleared it from my background, it would be the best thing ever invented. But having to log in every time I use it, then it bugging out and saying it’s doing a task that it isn’t, isn’t worth the time or hassle.
Sensitive to Heat
I’m genuinely confused how this Whirlpool oven passed any functionality testing. The moment the oven heats up and you try to check on your food, the display panel starts glitching and going completely haywire. The heat coming from the oven clearly affects the electronics, making the controls unreliable right when you need them most.
For an appliance at this price point, basic usability shouldn’t fall apart just because the oven is on. This feels like a major design flaw, and it makes everyday cooking frustrating and inconvenient. I expected far better performance and quality control from Whirlpool.

Saved data?
Great app except I can no longer use it unless I want to go through the hassle of resigning up. I was just randomly kicked off. While I don’t mind having to reset my password, it makes you start completely over. In my case, I have to have to wait for my husband to reinvite me. (Since only 1 of us can have the initial account)

Logged me out. Then wanted me to accept new terms and conditions. Why would I want this hassle. Can I pay up to remove “smart” features from things that do not need them?
Whirlpool double wall oven
This is fantastic to be able to operate this oven remotely. It makes things much easier, especially with the double oven.
Useless App
I’m trying to use this app with my washing machine. The app keeps glitching. The time for the wash cycle on the app doesn’t match the time that’s on the washing machine. There’s no user manual on the app or that came with the washer so I just have to figure out how to use the thing myself. Sometimes when I have the app open it flickers and does the spinning circle then never opens whatever I’ve tapped on.

Wow this app is horrible
I don’t know if they’re just submitting fake reviews but this app is complete trash, along with their washers and dryers. Used to be the best brand now they release half-a$s products with trash sensors, trash buttons, trash settings, no common sense.
Not reliable
I have a stacked washer/dryer combo. Setting up the app and pairing my appliances was fairly simple. Using the app is also fairly simple with additional wash cycles accessible through the app. The issue is I went to wash the next day and both appliances were offline and had to be paired/connected again. This shouldn’t be the case every single day it needs to be used. Developers please fix this issue. Otherwise this defeats the purpose of the app.

Terrible privacy policy
To get all of the features of whirlpool smart appliances, you have to agree to an incredibly invasive privacy policy which allows sharing your information with third parties. The app requires a lot of personal information, including location info. Unless you’re in a jurisdiction with consumer-friendly privacy laws, there is no transparency or method to opt out of selling your personal information
