Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback — it’s genuinely appreciated. I want to clarify a couple of things, as WhiskeyMate does not sell whiskey. The app’s core purpose is exactly what you described: logging, organizing, and rating the bottles you own or have tasted. We do have an optional merch store for users who want to support and promote the platform, but it’s separate from the core collecting experience. Regarding AI: Fitz is entirely optional. He’s available to help answer questions about the app or your personal collection, but he is not part of the experience unless you choose to engage with him. If you prefer a traditional, distraction-free approach to enjoying and tracking whiskey, you can simply not engage with Fitz and use WhiskeyMate as a straightforward collection and rating app. I hear your concerns, and feedback like this genuinely helps shape the direction of WhiskeyMate. If there’s anything specific you’d like to see improved for a more focused collecting experience, I’m always open to suggestions.

Thanks so much for the kind words! While WhiskeyMate started with a whiskey focus, we’ve been hearing more and more from tequila collectors like you. Based on that feedback, we’ve already added tequila-specific fields such as NOM, Master Distiller, Region, and more—many of them directly requested by the tequila community. Please keep the ideas coming! We actively use user feedback to shape what we build next, and we’ll keep expanding tequila support as the community grows. 🙌

Thanks so much for your honest feedback — and you're absolutely right. A bug slipped through in the last update that affected collection access and editing. We caught it quickly and pushed a fix in Version 1.22, which is now available in the App Store. We take stability seriously and truly appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve it.
