About

Every calorie counter gives you a number and leaves you alone with it. WhispCal doesn't. Autopilot finds your true maintenance calories, then adjusts your targets phase by phase — cut, maintain, build — so you never have to recalculate anything. You log your meals. It steers the journey. AUTOPILOT — A COACH, NOT A CALCULATOR Autopilot is the adaptive nutrition program built into WhispCal. It starts by finding your real maintenance — your true TDEE, calibrated from your own weight and intake data, not a generic textbook formula. From there, it periodizes your calories and macros across phases — fat loss, maintenance, reverse diet, lean gains — and recalibrates as your metabolism actually responds. Most trackers hand you a static number on day one and never look at it again. Autopilot revisits yours constantly. The longer you use it, the more precise it gets. You never do the math. You just follow the plan. METABOLIC ZONES WhispCal shows you four calorie zones — Floor, Deficit, Maintenance, and Surplus — so you always know exactly where you stand. A real-time gauge visualization makes nutrition intuitive instead of stressful. Set a specific daily target or a flexible range. Your call. LOG MEALS IN 3 SECONDS — VOICE, PHOTO, BARCODE, OR TEXT Say "two eggs and avocado toast with coffee." WhispCal's voice AI transcribes and logs everything instantly. Point your camera at a plate for AI photo recognition. Scan any barcode for instant nutrition data. Or type naturally and let AI parse the details. Three seconds. Done. No searching through endless databases. No scrolling. No friction. TRACK WHAT MATTERS • Calories, fat, carbs, protein, and fiber — all at a glance • Organize meals by type — breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks • Save favorites to your Kitchen for one-tap reuse • Build recipes with batch sizing and per-serving breakdowns • View 7-day consistency streaks, macro trends, and progress • Share meals with friends via deep links SEAMLESS HEALTH SYNC Connects with Apple Health for steps and weight data. Your wearable metrics flow in automatically and adjust your daily energy targets in real-time. No manual entry. YOUR JOURNEY Track weight trends across weeks, months, or a full year. Visualize your daily calorie balance. Review your history and watch the patterns that drive real results. AI NUTRITION REPORTS A personalized 90-day analysis of your eating habits. What you're doing well. Where to improve. Specific recommendations based on your data — not generic advice copied from a blog. THE ABYSS UI A minimalist, premium dark-mode interface that stays invisible. No visual noise. No clutter. Just the information you need, exactly when you need it. Designed for focus. What's New in WhispCal

1.14.4

September 1, 2026

Your food no longer turns up as empty rows, the date header is a rail you flick through, and an empty meal already knows what you usually put in it. New - The date header is one continuous rail. Flick it and you travel days instead of weeks. Tap the month above it to jump to any date, or to come straight back to today. - An empty meal slot offers "Your usuals" — the three plates you put there most often, ranked by what you actually still eat rather than what you ate most in total. One tap logs one, with no searching and nothing to set up first. Improved - The app opens faster from cold, and takes up less room on your phone. - Home opens and settles faster. It asks the server for far less, and what it does ask for comes back quicker. - Coming back to a day you have already opened keeps its rows on screen instead of flashing placeholders at you. - Logging a meal updates your day, your week ring and your streak at once, instead of going back to the server for each of them. - Saving a weigh-in finishes sooner. - The calorie band is taller, with clearer gaps between its zones. - Animations no longer keep running on screens you have left, so an idle app asks less of your battery. Fixed - Meal rows sometimes appeared empty on Android — the food was logged and counted, but the row came up blank. The screen now finishes settling before it draws your food, so the rows arrive a beat later and arrive complete. - Fibre from a batch-cooked recipe was counted as zero, and the zero followed every later copy of that serving. Servings you have already logged have been repaired. - Tapping the middle of an empty meal now opens the log flow. It used to open your usuals, because the usuals button was sitting across half the card. - Logging one of your usuals twice in quick succession no longer puts the plate on your day twice. - Your usuals no longer list the same plate twice. A pinch of salt logged on some days but not others used to split one habit into several identical-looking rows. - Each usual now leads with the food carrying the most calories instead of whatever you added first, so two different plates no longer open with the same three lines. - Your usuals follow what you eat these days, whichever date you are filling in. - Loading placeholders hold still when you have asked your phone to reduce motion.
