Auto-export Failure
Any audio recorded, cannot be found, cannot be exported, it is literally being hidden somewhere by the app. It does not auto-export either, I have over 1400 audio files that are nowhere to be found but can still be re transcribed.
What does work is the selection of the previous audio files from a while back, that you can easily mass select and mass export. So, whatever that is happening is due to recent changes going back 5-6 months or so.
The app itself works great, need ways to set shortcuts keys to record and end recording as I have accidentally refreshed way too many pages with CMD+R.

Mac & iOS subscriptions are separate!
I subscribed to this for the Mac early on as I enjoyed using it. Saw there was an iOS version but after downloading it became evident that my sub isn’t available for both. C’mon it’s not even a separate app, this is dumb.

Can you support Chinese language? Thank you very much。 At the same time, I think more features should be added, such as support for mobile phone quick recording, AI summarization and quick translation
Graphics False Advertising
Well the product is good, I found out after purchasing the the Meeting function is only available on the website version and not this one - the graphics should be adjusted to let purchasers know that this version does not support the same functionality for meetings as the website

I find that the main feature, transcribing YouTube videos works seldomly… I can’t find help. Disappointing.

Great Tool if You Pay the Full Price
The tool is good if you pay for the PRO version; otherwise, there is no way to save the transcripts. It offers various formats for saving the transcripts you create, yet you cannot use even the most basic one without paying for the PRO version. It makes little sense to use it to transcribe a video only to find you can't do anything with the result. While it does let you copy and paste the text into another program, a tool that offers a PRO option should still provide some fully functional basic features. Otherwise, it’s useless.

It isn’t “free”
You can download the app, but as soon as you try to transcribe a video you’re hit with a paywall. 1 star for the bait-and-switch. If you had put this up as an $89 app, I probably would have been happy to pay that. However hiding it until after I’ve downloaded and installed the app and started a project… Well, I’d give you zero stars if I could.

文字起こしの性能としては、十分なものを持っているし、Mac版では話者ごとにまとめてくれる
ただ、ローカライズされていないことと、リアルタイム文字起こしの時もしゃべり終わった後で停止した状態で、ようやく文字起こしにするが、リアルタイムでどんどんテスト化するような機能が欲しい

Terrible sorting options
We need the ability to sort imported files by their file creation time, or by their titles using natural sort. When I batch import 10 files, they come in all jumbled. A calendar or day through stepper would be nice too.

Weak app. It used to work much better
At some point the developers got carried away adding AI transcription engines, but in the end the only one that works somewhat reliably is Parakeet v3.
I used to transcribe 90-minute presentation recordings through this app without any issues. Now even a 30–40 second video clip can take so long to process that it’s easier to walk away and do something else.
Very disappointing experience. The app has become slower, less reliable, and far less useful than it used to be.

Terrible app
Sometimes it doesn’t record. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t continue to record if I go to another app. I have missed a lot of information with this app.
Poor App, lots of inaccuracies
The Mac app performs reasonably well, but the iPhone app falls short. Translation accuracy is often poor, and the summaries generated are frequently inaccurate. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I wish a refund were available. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this app.

Leider Crash-Anfällig
Ich nutze Whisper seit einem Jahr hauptsächlich zur Erstellung von Transcripten. Anfangs dachte ich: Wenn die Sprecher-Erkennung besser wird, dann ist die App absolut topp. Die Sprechererkennung ist mittlerweile recht gut, nicht perfekt. Ein Problem ist jedoch, dass die App seit eineigen Monaten immer wieder Fehler ausspuckt, dass das Modell corrupt sei (egal welches Modell man auswählt). Mal wird es durch Updates besser, mal hat man den Eindruck es wird noch übler. Es ist absolut nicht nachvollziehbar warum die App beim Transcribieren aussteigt. Es handelt sich immer um den gleichen Dateityp (Video).
Manchmal hilft es das Modell zu wechseln, dafür stürzt diese Modell dann bei einer anderen Datei ab. Wenn das nicht aufhört, nützen mir auch neue Features nichts und ich muss mir etwas anderes suchen… Das wäre sehr schade, denn gerade der Einmalkauf ist schon ein echtes Argument für Whisper.
