Great sound app
This app has a lot of great sounds to mask other sounds around you. My favorite is Red noise. The only thing I dislike about the app is having to clear out of a purchase options screen when launching the app at times.

I like the sounds it makes, so two thumbs up on that. But the real reason for my five star review is that it doesn’t collect any data about you! I went through a tear recently of deleting about 50 apps from my phone because they collected way too much information – I’m happy to pay for an app in exchange for keeping a tiny bit more privacy. Thanks for making this!

Better than other apps
I’ve tried several white noise or relaxing sound apps to help me fall asleep. This one is hands down the best. My favorites are the ocean and thunderstorms. No distracting music or jarring track transitions.

The mixes are what change everything. You can combine from the store, especially if you pay, any sound you could imagine.
There was a joke thing once on the Onion where they listed one of the interview people as “white noise DJ“
But with this app, that’s actually what you are.

Wonderfully Soporific
Due to certain medical issues, my son sleeps on the sofa, which is about 10 feet from my bed. He is a large guy and when he isn’t playing a game at top decibels or watching a show, he is snoring. Loudly. Ear plugs alone are not sufficient to cover up the noise. That’s where this white noise generator comes in. It is able to fill the air with competing, soothing noise to mask the irritating sounds coming from the couch. Absolutely 5 stars.

Have used every night for 12 years
This is the very best app for sleep sounds. I love to mix and match sounds, and to modulate time and the relative volume of each.
Too many ads
I like the app, but every once in a while, an ad will pop up when you launch the app, asking you to join a subscription service. It’s really annoying because it cycles between three different popup formats that require different types of dismissing them. Sometimes it’s a hard to see x in the upper corner, sometimes it’s a lower button… It’s the last thing you want to deal with when you’re trying to get to sleep and your screen is dimmed in a dark room.

Best ambiance app out there
This app is fantastic. The sandstorm is BEST white noise sound I have ever found. After getting this app I no longer needed any other. I have used it for years and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good sound/background/sleep aid. Can’t remember did it enough.

I’ve been using this app for ten years and I still use it almost every day, either to block out distracting noise while I study or as a fall asleep.
Meditater
I meditate every morning and there is a quiet selection background noise to choose from on this app. I had a recommend it.
