This app forces you to pay more and more, if you want more than basic info of any value beyond a google-like search. It keeps ratcheting up quickly to over $250. Please avoid if you can. The UI is unclear, and the fees outrageous.

No “Restore Purchases” link
I was skeptical to begin with, but I just signed up for a premium subscription through the App Store anyway and if you didn’t create an account with an email address beforehand you don’t get access to the premium features you just purchased without having to submit a support ticket through this company to track down your purchase.
It seems they are trying to get around Apples App Store procedures because every legitimate app I have a subscription for through the App Store has a simple “restore purchases” link that restores what you paid for without having to go through the company’s support system. Good thing I can easily get a refund through Apple without having to deal with the company’s support system. I just don’t see any other reason why they would want you to go through them instead of Apples simplified system of restoring your premium subscription.

They take money & you don’t get what you paid for
I paid for the pro+. However it did not unlock anything. There is no number to call. No response by email. Don’t waste your money & time. I have now start to try and get my money back through my account. Definitely not worth the gamble and the time.

I paid for an annual premium subscription with 100 lookups per month, but every time I went to use the app it tried to charge me for lookups. When I try to sign in it says I don’t have an account. Repeated requests for product support have gone unanswered. This is a scam.

Whitepages is my go to for gathering information on someone. Very user friendly. Does not try to get more money for additional information. Clear concise data. Start here first on your investigation. You can also locate friends and family who might have moved and you’d like to keep in touch. Find a childhood friend.

I normally use Whitepages to do searches for properties. Lately, it has been very glitchy. Just now, I did a search for one person. The app kept refreshing over and over until all of my lookups for the month was used up. Now I have to wait until next month to do another search.. I feel like I need to be compensated for this.

What’s the point?
What is the point of having this when you can’t even get the basic information about a number like the name and location? I don’t need to do what amounts to a background check just to find this information. All of that is behind a paywall. Even worse is how would I know it’s spam if I don’t know who called?

Great service, when it works
I would give it five stars if it weren't for the fact that, for years it's been impossible to get both the app and the website to recognize my subscription. 75% of the time when I do a look up it sends me to a page to choose my subscription plan. It can be extremely frustrating when I'm in a hurry.
