I used the app, paid the 5 dollars, and got completely scammed😂 me and my friend were trying it just to see if it even worked and it does the same thing a google image search would. It only shows celebrities or people with 3k plus followers complete scam do not use!

FAQ

What is Whodis used for?

Whodis uses AI to help you spot fake profiles and see where a photo appears across the public web. It's designed to verify identities before meeting people, check suspicious online accounts, and find where your own photos are used without your knowledge.

How does Whodis work?

You upload a clear, front-facing photo of a single face. Whodis then searches publicly available images across the web to find where the same face appears, providing ranked matches with confidence levels and links to source pages.

Does Whodis have ads?

No, Whodis does not contain advertisements. The app is free to download and use, with options to purchase search coins or subscribe for additional search allowances.

What are the subscription options for Whodis?

Whodis offers subscription plans for a recurring allowance of searches, including a Weekly plan for $9.99/P7D and a Monthly plan for $19.99/P1M. Prices and search allowances are clearly displayed within the app before purchase.

Can Whodis guarantee identity proof?

A face match from Whodis is a similarity signal, not definitive proof of identity. The app advises users to always confirm by opening the source page linked in the results. Results depend on the availability of public photos online.

Is Whodis available on Android devices?

Currently, Whodis is only supported on iPhone devices. The app is designed for iOS and has not yet been released for the Android platform.

How often is Whodis updated?

The latest version of Whodis is 1.3, and it was last updated on July 22, 2026. While specific update frequency isn't detailed, this indicates ongoing development and maintenance for the application.

What is the age rating for Whodis?

Whodis has an age rating of 17+. This is due to the nature of its facial recognition capabilities and the potential for its use in verifying adult online interactions and identifying potentially sensitive content.
