Thanks for reporting this. The code has to be entered by your friends inside the app after they install it, not by you. If that is what happened and it still shows the error, email support@whodissearch.com with your code and we will check the account and add the free searches.

Sorry about that. Whodis ranks every result by visual similarity, and the percentage shows how close each image is to the photo you uploaded. Low percentages mean weak similarity, so a list of low scoring results means nothing close was found rather than that those pages are relevant. We are working on changing that: a future update will hide low similarity results and return your search credit automatically when nothing scores high enough to be useful. In the meantime, email us at support@whodissearch.com and we will look into what happened with your search. A clear front facing photo with one face and good lighting also makes a real difference to the results.

Searches aren't free to run on our end. Every scan compares your photo against an enormous pool of images posted publicly online, and that costs us every single time. You can still get up to 3 free searches by inviting friends from inside the app. If the results were off or something didn't work, please reach out through the Support link on our App Store page, and we'll look into your case and help you out.

Navré que ça n’ait pas marché pour vous. Les résultats dépendent de ce qui est publiquement accessible en ligne : les personnes ayant peu ou pas de photos publiques peuvent ne pas être trouvées. Ce n’est pas une arnaque, mais on comprend la frustration. There’s a way to search without paying: you can get up to 3 FREE searches by inviting friends in the app. We can’t make every search free because each lookup checks your photo against a massive index of public web images, and that gets expensive fast. If inviting friends isn’t your thing, you can also buy just one search — no subscription needed.
