This app was so helpful but last 6 months I couldn’t use this app it’s not working.

It takes ages for every page to load
Login
I have logged in so many times. Followed each step, have had the WIC office help and still am unable to get in. Takes me through the entire process, opening up Michigan.gov, signing in, does a loading screen and sends me right back to the login page. It’s so disheartening
App unusable
Signing in was a pain, and then trying to add my wic account and card to my account literally did not work. I made multiple attempts and it froze the app every single time and would not let me go forwards or back, and then when I’d close the app fully to unfreeze it, I’d then have to sign in again all over again to gain access to where I left off.. which was trying to add my wic card and account to my milogin account. It’s much easier to just use the EBTEdge app as suggested on the back of the card than to run around and get frustrated and upset about wic connect and its failure. App is unusable and broken.

Log in trouble
It just won’t let me log in, first it says if it says error 2005 to go to the Michigan mi login thing and let it approve the app and I did that and now it is literally just not loading on the login page and I’ve tried over and over and over it won’t work
Nice to have but hard to use
I like being able to access the app and see what my benefits are, but I hate that the app requires me to login every time and there are times the app doesn’t work properly. Literally today I cant even use the app at all.

Barcode Scanner
The barcode scanner doesn't even work....hasn't worked in months. I even checked for an update, but there was none. Please check into this issue please!!

Never lets you log in. Once you log in it doesn’t scan items sometimes. Or it shows items aren’t approved when in reality they are.

Bar Code RARELY Works
This app is the most infuriating app to use and it makes things really difficult when we’re just trying to use it. The only thing I’ve had luck on with using the barcode our cereal boxes. Aside from that it’s not functional at all. This absolutely needs to be fixed.
Unable to SignUp/Login
App completely useless. I just got approved for benefits and the app does not let me do anything. Every time I try and sign in, it gives me an error code with no number or anything to try and figure it out.
Barcode scanner NOT functional for multi-camera lens phones
This app would get a higher rating if the barcode scanner was updated to work on ALL phones, not just single-camera lens phones. Also would’ve been nice if I didn’t have to go through trial and error to figure out why the barcode scanner wasn’t working by myself. As a new WIC user, having the barcode scanner is nice…just not available to use on my phone (I’ll have to take my husband’s phone when I go…). PLEASE update the app so that the barcode scanner can work on all phones (I’ll update my rating to reflect if that does happen!).

Not helpful at all
I’ve downloaded this app to help make my WIC purchases less of a hassle. Every time I go to the store and check out, I grab the exact brand, oz, and type of food listed in the wic approved foods on the website and book. Every time I go to check out I’m constantly told more than half my items are “not wic approved” even though it clearly says it is in the book and website. It takes forever to figure out with the store employees what is approved and what’s not and it’s such a hassle and time consuming. I downloaded this app to help and for some reason you need to connect your bridges account to login into this app. So that’s fine, I do that then it tells me “you do not have permission to access the requested resource”. Quite frankly it’s ridiculous how you have to jump through hoops to get help. Then when you do reach out to the mi bridges # for help it takes forever, they’re rude, not helpful, or don’t even answer. The government does not make it easy for people to get help when it’s truly needed and the people who don’t need help and take advantage, and get the help that others truly need. I have a special needs 12 month old who requires a significant amount of care everyday and I’m a single mom unable to work due to her needs. The government makes it impossible for people like me to get the help we need. Things need to improve in Michigan and with our “politicians” and the “president” they’re screwing everyone over who actually needs help. I appreciate my benefits and it helps but it’s a constant hassle and there are always so many hoops you have to jump through to get assistance for anything and it’s exhausting, impossible and tiring. App needs to improve. I have a bridges account yet still won’t let me log in. It’s ridiculous

Seriously needs some updating
This app won’t let me login for the past two months now. It’s ridiculous I can’t see any of my stuff because it won’t allow me to login. They should really fix that and work on getting my a better upc scanner in the app because the scanner never worked when I could sign in. It’s frustrating
