Top reviews

Unhelpful

I wouldn’t give any stars if I could. Your agent at approximately 13.00 hrs said if I wanted Wickes to fit my utility area then only your luxury range would apply and this would cost £6,000.00. Minimum Otherwise I needed your base range which I would have to put together myself. So much for your free design service.

Miss

Very speedy delivery. Wish they had more on garden accessories. Planters are etc

WICKES SAVED MY LIFE

THIS APP SAVED ME

Junk App

Honestly, you’d think that a service supplying information to mobile trades would be better than this. But I can stand right next to my router and still the app won’t load. And as. for
finding stuff when it does… And before you say anything; yes - I still get other services… easily…. Oh well; B&Q it is….

Difficult to log in via app

I can log in via the website no issues, but the app is having non of it

Just doesn’t work

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this is a terrible app. I have deleted it and resorted to using the website. Copy the screwfix app guys…

Wickes

I go to go on the app and then it does not seem to work I shuts down my phone

Don’t know why Wickes has low reviews??!!

Wickes always do a great job at sourcing products and having them available at all times! Go to Wickes!

Latest update problems

Since the latest update many of the links do not work now, i.e. if you open up a pic on a review you cannot close the pic by pressing the ‘x’. This is just one of the problems with links.

Landscaping!

New branch opened in Durham so installed app. Problem, apart from navigation - on IPad only shows in portrait format - a bummer if using a keyboard case!! Fix it otherwise will delete.

Orientation

Some of us use this on an iPad in landscape - why is app not rotating like most see capable of like B&Q

View in AR More light required!!!!

Great idea being able to view your paint choice in AR. Unfortunately the app thinks we live in a cave as keeps saying more light required. We have all the lights on in the room we are trying to view the paint in but no, we need more. Back to buying tester pots.

Not working

Just downloaded the app, search seems okay but trying to read more about the item nothing happens so am deleting it

Unusable

Picture on screen shakes and jumps up and down unusable deleted without being able to use. Wanted to use the paint colour tester but cannot

Deleting

Due to CEOs deeply offensive pro paedophilegarbage.

Landscape, iPad apps need to support landscape!!

Any modern iPad variant app needs to support landscape and not force portrait use. Many iPad users use an Apple or 3rd party case/keyboard that is designed to be used in landscape mode. Apple’s own folding keyboard covers/cases forces landscape mode, thus modern apps should support landscape too.

Slow and buggy

App is slow to open and use, it always tries to reload previous sessions whatever that means which takes forever and then makes me login anyway.

The website works much better and is 10 times faster.

Wickes needs to do better than this

The developers of this app seem to think they can rewrite app gestures that are now established.

Every time I choose a product to view and then want to go back to my search results by swiping i bring up the settings section!!!

In any other app such gestures are reserved for going back or forward a page (right to left or left to right)

Not for the wickes app, you get the settings section?

How this gesture passed testing phase is puzzling.

In order to go back you have to touch the back arrow in the top left corner.

Devs please respond.

App eats battery power and is clunky

Hoped for better, Wickes being my preferred diy store. App is slow and consumes phone power for no obvious reason. Use the web site, it’s easier!

Stupid cookies

The apps unusable due to a partially hidden poxy bloody cookie notice preventing any interactivity I can see a bit of it but can’t get to the sod off aka accept button.

If we have to be endless plagued with cookies at least make the decision a once only action not every time the cut down browser interface is launched!
