Love this widget!! Two requests for consideration

First, I’m so grateful to the developer for creating this! It’s awesome. Functionality works great for me on my watch — it’s really revolutionized how I use my Reminders during the day.

Two requests for consideration — not sure how feasible these are:

1) Could the red color for overdue tasks be made optional somehow? Or even a paler red? My all day “due today” tasks look overdue although they may not be (because the complication thinks they were due at 12 AM), and the red on black just makes it a bit harder to read for me.

2) I would also love to be able to select a specific list of reminders to view, rather than only having due today as an option for viewing. Often I use undated lists with manual ordering of tasks.

Otherwise — this widget rocks and I really appreciate it! Thank you.

Response from developer

Glad it’s working for you! I am working on the ability to select a specific list. I am on track to have that functionality ready this summer.

Almost great

I really wish that wouldn’t tapping on the complication. It would just open the Reminders app instead of the custom view it currently displays, as you cannot interact with the reminders.

Response from developer

Appreciate the feedback. This summer should bring an update that will allow more functionality. Update: Apple does not allow 3rd party complications to directly open Reminders. However, interactivity in Widgetminder is on my list of features to add.

Nice complication upgrade

Wish the stock Apple Reminder complication would do what this app does. 2 columns, 12 reminders is a nice display. Now I just need to redo my reminders to make use of this neat functionality.

To the Dev, might put a small explainer in the description of how to use the app. I went looking for the app and then watch apps before just editing my watch face to find the complication. Might be low information user error but I assume others will make this same series of mistakes without troubleshooting and giving up.

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words. I have had a few questions regarding use. The confusing thing for most people is that this is just a complication to display your reminders. It does have the ability to tap the complication to see more detail. I will be adding some more visible information in a future update. There is some info on Widgetminder’s website, but I would consider that info a little bit hard to find.

Simple Minimalist Complication for Busy People

This is brilliant because it does what you need so simply. I am using it on the Modular Duo watch face and it shows my overdue then today reminders. I can click on them for the detail - time etc. By keeping my reminders to 1 word. It means I have 3 words on my screen today and that sums up what I must do today. If I want details - time, date, etc I can click on it but I love that it displays the minimum. When I’ve done my reminders I reward myself by swiping to my Photo watch face.
