5 year old system with no upgrades.
Bft gates and aes are a nightmare to deal with. They are of no help. They said a gate installer will contact me, they never did. Their software is glitchy and now wifipro2 stopped working. Had to change gate software and now in limbo on intercom and camera software. Why can't one app do it all? It's 2025 IT people?????

App does not stay open in iOS. Blinks and shuts down. Cannot operate the gate with the app anymore. Piece of junk.

Crashes on iPhone 15
As soon as the app connects to the camera, the app crashes. iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.3. I can still open/close the gate by triggering the open/close before the camera image comes up and crashes the app. Cannot communicate with anyone via the intercom due to the crash. Also, app says it’s up to date but the app says it’s version 4.4 and App Store says the current version is 4.6. I hope someone from AES reads this and solves this fatal error.

The app doesn’t work on the latest version of iOS. It’s never been good, but now it’s just crashing when I try to use the open / close buttons. Bad.
Absolutely awful
Our poor user experience mirrors the many other comments already made. We are hardwired from the intercom box to the router (contractor recommended that vs relying on Wi-Fi), but system goes "offline" often and causes issues with holding gate open, notifications, etc. Very disappointed that our gate contractor (well regarded Seattle company) chose this intercom hardware for our very expensive gate system. I am considering changing out the system. If anyone has had success with a replacement please share it in the reviews. Thanks
Was discussing this crappy app with a friend and he suggested someone hack it and update it properly and regularly so it works as advertised and works with new phone upgrades. Maybe as a college computer science class project? For the life of me I can’t figure out why the creators are leaving monetary value on the table by dumping an app used by many. Right now I’m being quoted $4k for a new call box system that with work with my Liftmaster hardware (this is from the installation company that did it less than 6 years ago). Crazy.

App sucked before but worked if you spend the time to baby it. Latest iOS update makes the app useless. It will not open the app after the call button is pressed. If you randomly have the app open you can receive the call. What good is that?!

So, with the first one, I can see my gates and even close them when the app is open.. when it isn’t (and it closes itself about 30 seconds after opening and doesn’t run in the background) I can’t use it. This means that if someone comes to the gate and presses the intercom, I have no idea that they are there because the app has closed itself and doesn’t do as it supposed to and alert me. There are no ‘push notifications’ or any other mechanism to ensure I know someone is there. The entire point of the intercom and app is negated by the useless app!!

Crashes before the gate will open
Company left its users stranded after dropping $8k on a remote gate “solution”
Not reliable
Does not work on iPhone 15. App just crashes. Prior to this had problems with going offline intermittently and notification of buzzer ringing is slow on iPhone - takes about 10 seconds.
Poor customer support
This app worked on my old iPone 11; however, when I upgraded to iPhone 15, the app no longer works. When I contacted customer service, I was told there was no plan to update the software. Poor customer support!
SCAM
This app has never worked. The app constantly crashes. If I could give zero stars I would. Apparently this app is not compatible with iOS 16. Rang up the company and they said there’s nothing they can do. So now I can never open the gates from my phone, never know when I have visitors or deliveries. The whole thing is a joke. AVOID anything to do with this company or app!!!

Worst app for gate access
Looks like it was written for DOS by Jr. High kids in the 1990s. Unreliable, ugly interface, hard to cofigure.
Constant Crashing
App now is completely useless as it crashes instantly once it connects to the gate live feed. Unable to remotely open the gate or talk to people live at all any more. Extremely disappointing, how can you sell such an expensive piece of equipment and now keep up the software behind its main attractive use/reason to purchase. I don’t mind the outdated or simple design of the app, I just want it to function as before.

Garbage interface for a $1500 keypad intercom
I bought a BFT WiFi pro 2 keypad controller for $1500 in Oct2020. I buy a new iPhone in 2022 and the app isn’t compatible. I call tech support at BFT and they tell me it’s a known issue with iPhone 14&15 and basically too bad- there o plan to fix the app because the 2 year hardware warranty is expired. What a crap company. They’ll generously allow me to upgrade the keypad hardware to my gate for $960 though and the software for that will work. Yeah, fool me once…Oh yeah, read the 2 year warranty fine print- it’s from date of manufacture, not purchase. Better hope it hasn’t been in the shelf for 18 months.
