Sharing works now, and it is worth doing. Tap Share on any find and WildEcho builds you a proper card: your photo, the species, a fact worth repeating, and where you were. On the last version that button quietly did nothing at all. Trips keep what you find. Ending a trip used to show you a summary and then throw it away. Nothing was saved. Now every trip is kept, listed on the Trip tab, and you can open any of them again whenever you like. Add finds you have already made. Walked the shore, identified a few things, then thought about starting a trip? Anything already in your journal can be added to it, so you never identify the same creature twice. Share a whole trip as one card: where you went, when, and everything you found. Trips show your photos now, not just a list of names. Also in this update: Your Profile leads with your rank, badges and library instead of settings. The library is a shelf of photos with your full field journal one tap behind it, and account, plan and preferences now live together in one place. Reference photos. Every result now shows a real, credited photograph of the species so you can check it against what you actually saw. These were turning up as blank boxes. Faster identifications. Photos are resized before they are sent, so a big, detailed shot no longer times out on you. Straight answers. When an identification cannot be made, WildEcho tells you what went wrong instead of shrugging and saying "Unknown Creature". Sound IDs that hold on. If the full write-up cannot load, WildEcho tries again before falling back to a short version, so a weak signal out in the field no longer costs you the profile. The foraging warning is on mushrooms only. It was firing on garden flowers and lawn grass, which just teaches you to ignore it. On fungi, where look-alikes genuinely are dangerous, it stays exactly where it belongs. Photos you take in the app now save to your camera roll. Found something good? Your share card has @wildecho.app on it now. Tag us and we may feature your find.
