They Screw People for a Living

These people basically raise money from unassuming investors who don't realize they have the very last priority in getting paid back on every deal. Do not invest with these people, literally else you do with your money is better. Your capital will be locked up for years before you realize either a partial or full loss. They are also beyond terrible communicators and can't give you a mark to market on any investments. Also when they do lose all your money it will take them 18 months to even show the loss so you can get a tax benefit ( these tax losses are the highlight of my investing with them). Unfortunately I learned this all the hard way and I work in finance. My fault for trusting them, please don't make the same mistake, whoever runs this Ponzi scheme should be in jail.

Scam

I deposited 5k, six years ago. They never let you withdraw funds again, and you will watch as the amount just dwindles YoY.

JUST AVOID. You’ll be frustrated literally within about 1 week of committing to this garbage.

Sending hate from Oregon.

Disappointed

All these promises to invest. You get set up and wham nothing to invest in followed by a message saying base on your individual investment question you don’t meet the requirements. Why wouldn’t you tell me that to begin with. So at the same time this marketed to everyone but really it’s for big time investors and big business.

There are far better options on the market

been with willow for over 5 years. the upside has been limp at best. i’ve been in the private credit fund but was in the art fund for a while too. UX is sub par at best, if not confusing. and good luck if you need to liquidate - they don’t make that process clear at all. i wouldn’t waste your time with this one.

Lost money

It’s very risky. Do research. I lost a lot - lesson learned

App is fine, product is bad

Just beware, their notes are fairly safe, but you can get about the same return in a guaranteed CD or HYSA. I lost 100% on a real estate apartment building venture. Don’t do it. You’re like the low man on the totem pole. So others probably got some of their money back but Yieldstreet investors get nothing. And they take forever to get you your K1. So you have to file extensions. What a pain!

You’ve been warned

The name change is because YieldStreet has developed a horrible reputation for poor communication and investor service. Forget about investors’ losses, we all know the risks. The problem is that these people cannot tell the truth. Changing their name will not change who they are. They are dishonest group of people who really don’t know what they’re doing.

Beware Beware

My personal experience suggests that investing with these guys can lead to losing a lot of money. I take full accountability for my own losses as I made the investments and I knew that there were risks.

My only purpose for writing this is to give others a warning shot across the bow that my view based on my experience of the track record of yield Street is at best pathetic. I currently have five different investments that are on the watchlist and my expectations are that they all either lose the vast majority of my investment or 100% of my investment. My lesson learned, hoping I can spare somebody else the same lesson.

Warning Many of the positive reviews are fake
have since more than 1 yr I didnot receive dividend from real estate investment
Update Dec 2025 now they are saying all my money is wiped out
Total loss for the past 3 years the real estate market was good
But these people are cheating everyone

Stay away

Stay away from these crooks at all costs. This company’s a fraud. I’ve lost almost 200k. They literally have no clue what they are doing. Please stay away.

Don’t invest in this fraud company

I lost all my investments. They invest in super risky funds to get kick backs and then stop responding.

Absolutely Horrible

As an accredited investor, I signd up, entered my real tax, net worth, and identifcation information, and their compliance team randomly closely my account with no explanation whatsoever. Their help desk was totally useless and never followed up. The people at YieldStreet literally just stole my most sensitve private data and then banned the account with no legitmate reason at all. Beware the scam and do your Google research on their many fraud lawsuits.

New app is terrible!

How can you release a “new” version of an app and it’s a big step backwards. I used to be able to do everything on the app and now I have to go to the website to see investment updates. Did they do no testing with real users of the app? This is on top of all of my real estate investments heading for complete wipeouts! I guess they want to make it hard to see the bad updates.

Investment details not accessible

With the new update, all the investment details are lost as are the forms. How this key detail was missed in the overhaul is mind boggling

Updated app list extensive features

The latest update lacks access to documents and analysis of your funds. It is much less useful. Please reinstate.

New version lost all documents

App was great but now there is no way to view documents associated with investments. App update was a downgrade.

The. Worst.

Warren Buffet said that when the tide goes out, you find out who is swimming naked. Yieldstreet is not only naked but they have a tattoo on their butt of a burning pile of money inside a heart symbol. I don’t think that they could be more incompetent if they were actually trying.
