Have now used the service twice and find it a real game changer. Very helpful drivers, timely service, bookable up to a week ahead, great app. A superb Wiltshire solution to the difficult problem of providing service between remote villages and small town hubs.

Not fit for purpose
Starting with the positives - it’s a bus, it gets you from A to B. Most of the time. As for the negatives i’ve found this app difficult to use and as other reviews suggest the system for booking an on demand bus is trying, often a bus is not available and so you have to go through the whole process again. What i find most irritating about this service though is the amount of times it’s failed to show up or been very late, that’s both for timetabled stops and on demand buses i’ve managed to book in the past. Today i had a bus booked , a confirmed text that it would arrive to pick me up 11:01, then after showing up, waiting and realising i’d now be missing the connecting bus i had to catch from Devizes. I rung in just to be told actually my driver had been waiting at 10:50 to pick me up and i wasn’t there so essentially it was my fault and there was nothing they could do. Not fair in my opinion as both the app and the confirmation text stated my driver would arrive at 11:01. It was put down to an IT issue. Maybe it wouldn’t be such an issue if there was another bus i could get but there isn’t, there are 2hr gaps in the timetable between scheduled stops and when your booked bus doesn’t even show up you cannot rely on this service. I have spoken to at least 10 other people who regularly use the service who feel the same way as me that the bus service is not fit for purpose, unreliable, and often feels unsafe as drivers are particularly fast on winding wiltshire roads. I wish the bus service had stayed with Salisbury Reds bus company because at least then you could rely on it.
