Best app for sUAS Pilots
I was looking for a simple app that would give me VFR Sectional Chart with location access. You would think it’s simple, there should be tons of those apps, right?
This is the first one I found. But it also has weather, METARS, TAFS, NOTAMS!! It’s a perfect preflight app.

Loading ADSB traffic..... ???
ADSB was displaying for a while, and even saw aircraft traveling on screen..... But now seeing the following constant notification (without any aircraft showing): "Loading ADSB traffic....."
No way to reset this data stream without uninstalling & reinstalling app ?

WindCheck is fantastic and intuitive!
I appreciate the attention to detail in the UI. It’s clear the developers are truly thinking about pilot usability instead of just slapping info and buttons on the screen. I am currently a student pilot, and this app is helping me tremendously by providing what I need quickly without the initial weight of using ForeFlight from the onset. Even after I achieve my PPL, I will continue using this app in my toolkit.
The latest addition of the Apple Watch decoded METAR widget is awesome. The widgets usability is well thought out and the order and placement of information makes sense.

Very cool new app to my addition
Very cool app a new addition to my other pilot apps. But for some reason I am unable to see live aircrafts on the map as mentioned. Please fix. Besides that it’s pretty cool
Straight to the point
Must have for every pilot for quick and easy to interpret wind conditions.

I remember a very unpolished previous version and uninstalled it back then - this new version is much better, well done!
Couple suggestions:
• General: Add Dark mode (just following the system behavior will do); any pilot flying at night will appreciate that!
• Airport: Instead of Headwind: -8 I’d present it as Tailwind: 8 and use red for that entire line. The Displaced threshold line gets cut off in many occasions, you may want to abbrev. or reserve more space
• Map: Love it! If you could have at least three different icons though (Airlines/smaller GA/Heli) that would be useful
• Compass: Love it!
• Scratchpad: Love it! But add option for black background (or change via Dark mode)

Very detailed, full of information that are very helpful for pilots. Easy to use, good job!
Needs polishing
Just entered KTIW and got a temperature of "00000000000001", overwriting the temp label.
Fractions of temperatures are neither necessary nor usual in aviation, it makes more sense to round up or down.
Same for METAR age, just round up or down the minute, no seconds needed.
Some settings would be nice for ft vs m, kt vs m/s, C vs F, etc.

Great little app for pilots
Works fine, but elevation shown is in meters, not feet.

Very simplistic and to the point.
This is a very simple way to look at the winds in an airport. One BIG flaw is that it does NOT offer the Wind Gusts when they are available in the METAR.
