Easy to use and usually fairly accurate, being able to see live buoy reports is nice too, also appreciate that the pro is a one time payment and not another subscription

Great app. Has all the weather you could ever need. Sun, rain, wind (see app name) you name it, it’s in there. Temperature as well, loads of it. Great range. Will use again to see if it’s going to rain on my dog walk.

Ich nutze Windfinder Pro jetzt schon seid vielen Jahren überall in Europa als Wetterforcast für meine Hobbies sowie für die Arbeit und bin sehr zufrieden. Meistens passt die Vorhersage, wenn ich irgendwo, z.B. zum Windsurfen, hinfahre.
Man sollte sich jedoch immer an Super- und Standardforcast orientieren und auch die Großwetterlage auf der Karte beobachten um eine möglichst genaue Prognose zu erhalten.

Have increasingly overtime used this app for ALL my weather related needs now. I’m retired and live on the Fla panhandle coast and do tons of outdoor/offshore activities through a narrow, very shallow inlet. Having timely confidence in my wind and wave direction, size and speed means EVERYTHING for me as I’m able to have magnificent experiences time and again using Windfinder Plus. I’ve come to rely on it for all my weather needs regardless of where I am. This is not a light endorsement as this app has earned its way to prime real estate on my Homepage over the last few years. Big fan!

I rely on Windfinder to pick my boating days in the Florida Keys. The simple hour by hour format allows me to get on and off the ocean safely.

nochmal in aller Deutlichkeit: ich brauche bei Minusgraden keine Windalarme. Bitte berücksichtigt die Temperatur oder ich muss mir eine andere App suchen.
Update: musste jetzt leider das Abo beenden. Habe die Bewertung auf 4 Sterne wieder hochgezogen. Die App macht ja was sie verspricht. Aber ohne Temperaturbereich brauche ich keine Windalarme. Und ohne Windalarme brauche ich die App nicht. Schade.

I used to love this app. But when the current price clearly shows 7.99 and they charge you 12.99 instead? That is fraud. Beware of this app and the company that runs it.
Mostly Accurate
I am a Chater fishing captain and use a variety of apps to keep my clients safe on our fishing trips. I use Windfinder for the prediction of wind and waves. With wind, they are good. With waves, they are consistently bad. I routinely add 1-2’ to their predictions in the 2-5’ range. Sometimes, they are WAY off, which costs me money and reputation. When Windfinder tells me the wind is 15-18 and waves 2’, I KNOW they are WAY OFF. The waves will 3-5’, especially if it’s been blowing for a couple of days. This is bourne out on the report page. So, be careful with the wave predictions.
