I’m a crane operator and I use this app daily at work to fill out my paperwork. Min max wind speed, wind direction, temperature. It’s a well made app. I also use Windfinder to see if we’ll get rained on or not.

Sneaky Subscription Renewal
When starting a trial subscription to tryout the app, it says they will remind you a day before the annual subscription is started. Then they don’t send a reminder but do charge you for a year’s subscription.

This app provides accurate data in all respects. When you live in natural fire prone areas, knowing winds and weather are crucial to stay ahead of Mother Nature.
Bloatware spam
As soon as you open the app, it wants all this information and profile setup before it even lets you access any wind information. Then it spams you with pay for everything. There are much better apps that are straight forwards

Really really excellent. Best wind app for watersports. And they seem to continue developing it; it is constantly getting even better. I use it for normal weather forecasts, too, not just for water sports.
