About

Wine Lab Archive turns your phone into a private wine study — no ads, no tracking, no account, everything stored on your device. WHAT'S INSIDE - Sommelier Theory: 32 structured lessons across five phases (Basics, Vinification, Tasting, Regions, Service), aligned with CMS, WSET and JSA-style curricula - Grape Encyclopedia: 134 varieties with tasting-structure profiles (body, tannin, acidity, sweetness, alcohol, oak) you can compare side by side - Wine Region Map: an interactive world map with hundreds of appellations, each with representative wines and sourcing notes - Tasting Notes: a full WSET-style systematic tasting sheet (appearance, nose, palate, conclusion), with photos - My Cellar: track bottles you own, with purchase details, drinking windows, and photos - Pairing Guide: food, glassware and music suggestions for 12 wine styles - Self-Test: a 14-question practice quiz, all self-authored - Wine Roulette: can't decide what to drink tonight? Spin for a style, wine and dish PRIVACY BY DESIGN Every note, bottle, and photo stays on your device. No accounts, no analytics, no ad trackers. The map uses OpenStreetMap tiles; that's the only network traffic in the app. 10 LANGUAGES English, Korean, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian. What's New in Wine Lab Archive

1.0.1

September 6, 2026

This update adds 3 new grape varieties, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara, used in Amarone and Valpolicella blends, plus search and A-to-Z sorting when picking a grape to compare taste profiles. We also added a clear non-affiliation notice to the Certifications screen: Wine Lab Archive is an independent study guide and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by CMS, WSET, JSA, or the Institute of Masters of Wine. The bottom tab bar has been redesigned. With 11 tabs, we now show 5 at a time with swipe-to-see-more, page dots, and always-visible labels, so you can jump straight to any tab by name.
