Searching is a nightmare
I really do like this app and my family and I have found some awesome wines at below market prices. However, searching for wine is a nightmare. I just scrolled through 250 bottles of something called Roadhouse Winery... They either need to be more discerning in what they list or have more tags so you can search more specifically. Great concept but you really have to know what you’re looking for otherwise it can be a wasteland. Also, I the fee structure on each winning bid is quite rich.

The app worked up until the last couple of months now it freezes and the pages do not refresh while bidding
Good concept…bad delivery
I purchased three bottles of wine to try this service out. The auction process was fun and easy to use. That’s where the the fun ended. There is no refrigerated shipment option, so you need to sign a waiver so your wine can cook in a delivery truck. Then only two of three bottles arrived and one was clearly leaking.

Wines are priced high and they only ship FedEx
Not really an auction site, they price wines at retail and you can buy them through the auction. Auctions typically receive no other bids. Which is okay. My real complaint is they ship using FedEx, the worse service for fine wines. UPS is much better, at least in Colorado. Fees plus taxes add about 25% to the price.

They don’t actually have the wine pictured stay away
Purchased a 2004 Leoville Las cases on their site they sent me a completely different bottle of wine and now tell me they never had the correct bottle that was pictured on their website and they offered me the ability to keep the one they sent me for full price or they will send me a shipping label and hold my funds until I return the other one. The customer service rep made me feel like it was my fault somehow and they don’t need to take any responsibility for their screw ups. Never again.
