And you guys thought you improved it? You’re lucky if the radar updated after 7 or 8 minutes. A lot could happen during that time when you have thunderstorms.
The radar loop goes so fast that you can hardly tell when the loop starts and ends.
Of course the user cannot adjust the speed of the loop.
You had to ruin it.

This app used to be extremely accurate and the only one you needed to look at. The past year or so, it has become almost completely worthless!! It is very generalized and almost never accurate.
Improvements
1- prior to the update, the radar would constantly update every minute or so, there was not much delay in updates. Now, it’s not a real time update radar.
2- user unable to adjust animation loop of the radar. You have it at a set speed, and you cannot tell when it ends and loops again. The beginning and the end of the loop look like one .
The old app was much better.
We update the app and we ruin it.

Improvements
It’s been a great app. Just a couple of suggestions:
1- prior to the update, the radar would constantly update every minute or so, there was not much delay in updates. Now, it takes 5 to 7 minutes to update, at least from my perspective as a user.
2- while radar is moving, the bar reaches the end of the line so fast and return to the beginning so fast, the user cannot tell when the data ended . It’s moving so fast and no option to slow it down.
These two features were perfect in the old app before the major update.

I’m watching wink news. It’s telling me that there’s 60% rain tomorrow but on the app shown 20 who do I believe it’s the same news

What happened to the cone shapes that showed the direction the storms were moving? That was what set this app apart. Now the radar is just like any other app.
Great radar and forecasts
I live across the state from Wink and I used it in the past in Rotonda but I use it now in Boynton Beach to double check the forecasts I see here. Wink is always correct!

One of most handiest apps
I love this app. It is one of the most useful apps I have. I use it to determine when I can do certain things in the yard. I also use it when I am about to go out for a run. I know if it’s going to rain and if I need to protect my phone. If it is cold, I’ll know how to dress. Also very useful during hurricanes—and you know we get them.

Wink Liberal weather went too far! We all love Matt! Did you count the minutes he was away from his family during hurricanes! Deleting all Wink apps today!

This is the only weather app that I like here in Southwest Florida. I deleted it when they fired Matt Devitt. But I found out real quick. This is the only radio station that I could get with a free app.

Deleted this app bc Wink news fired Matt Devitt, who has been the most reliable and accurate weatherman in SWFL. Will not watch this news channel ever again

I have tried just about every weather app there is and the wink weather app is one of the best, even compared to the big pay apps. LOVE the weather map and the features. WOW, the features are abundant and customizable! ONLY ONE THING MISSING: A watch app / complication so I can access the weather at a glance. That’s all, I’m done now. I have found my go to weather app. Wink wink. 😉
