Needs Zelle
All around great but definitely needs to connect with other people’s (close friends/family) bank accounts to have transaction send between. Zelle being added would be a good featuree 💯🙏🏽

This newest update is bad! Can’t see my pending transaction anymore. Some of the posted transactions aren’t showing up till days after they should. And right now it says my paycheck is in my account, but doesn’t show it as poster of pending.
App Update
The latest app update is frustrating! I’m not able to see all of my transactions in the app. Some pending and posted deposits, debits and transfers do not appear in either checking or savings and my balance is not showing correctly. I do not like guessing about what has posted and how much money I have available. This app update needs to be fixed and the app restored to show all activity promptly like it did before this awful update!

No mobile check deposit feature in app
I downloaded the app so I could deposit my paychecks via app (because all the branches around me are closed before and after I go into/leave work). The website claims they have a mobile check deposit feature but if they do I’ve yet to find it. I’ve never had a problem with any other bank I’ve used when it comes to mobile check deposits. It’s always an easy and convenient feature but not with WinSouth.. I will definitely be closing my account when I leave the job that still gives me a physical paycheck. I would give 0 stars if I could. :(

Great App
LOVE this app! Received multiple communications regarding the upgrade and the instructions needed to log in to the new app. They also have tutorials on their website and YouTube. Awesome new features!

Love the app but!
The app is great and the card HQ function I really like. WinSouth seems to have security at mind with the option of having your phone in the same location for card transactions etc.
The only thing they need and it is disappointing is no external transactions and no member to member transfer ability. This is something I need because I share house bills with another member.

A Much Needed Upgrade
Super happy that the WinSouth finally got an upgrade! Love mobile check deposit and having so much control over my cards with Cards HQ.

Major improvement from the old app and makes it so much easier to navigate your accounts and also navigate your loans. Only think I don’t like about it from what I have seen is that you can’t see your total through all accounts anymore.

This app doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I have not been able to access my account through my phone for almost 2 weeks now. I downloaded the app when it came out bc the old app no longer worked & only loaded a blank screen suggesting to download this one. After downloading, it asked for my login. My login info was saved on the old app, so I can’t remember my username exactly. (Even if I could, my parents & brother were also having trouble with the password.) I clicked “forgot login” & “forgot username.” It asks for my email associated with my account. I put in my email, it says it has sent the email my username. I HAVE REPEATED THIS STEP MULTIPLE TIMES. Still have yet to receive an email of my username.
Apparently you need to delete the old app before downloading this one. So I deleted both apps & redownloaded this one. Still no luck. I’ve guessed variations of what I think my login could be but no luck. I’ve tried doing all the same things as far as just logging in through the website on my phone, still no luck. They posted a link to their Facebook page that was supposed to have clear step-by-step login instructions. When I click the link, it goes to the WinSouth website but the page has LITERALLY NO CONTENT ON IT. 0 instructions. Nothing but the website logo at the top & usual info at the bottom of every page.
After failing to login multiple times through the site, it gave me an option to test my browser. It says I need to allow pop-ups, enable cookies, & increase display size. There’s a link beside these that say “More Information.” The link takes me to their online help index. When going to the sections specific to the things it told me I needed to change, there are sets of instructions on how to change these settings to make the browser compatible, but THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE UNCLEAR & DON’T MAKE SENSE, at least not for Safari on the iPhone. Completely unhelpful. I think it is implying that it will have to be done on a computer/laptop (not mobile)?? But who knows, bc everything about this process has been a ridiculous hassle.
The only way to potentially get any help logging in is by calling them, which is still no help to me at all considering I am in my senior year of college with an internship + 2 other jobs. I don’t have the time, especially during the hours WinSouth is open. I’ve been using WinSouth for years but this seriously has me considering other options.
0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Completely useless. Unnecessarily complicated. Waste of time & infuriating. WHY LAUNCH A NEW APP WHEN YOU CAN’T GET THE PROCESS OF SWITCHING TO BE RELATIVELY DOABLE FOR YOUR USERS???
