Seems to work just like the desktop version, but on my iPad!
All the reviews here are pretty old, so I'm assuming that they were before any recent updates. Mostly leaving a review to boost the ratings. My work uses Wipster constantly, so it's nice to have a portable app.
A great addition to my workflow
Loving the ability to upload directly from my mobile, then share video assets with stakeholders, and easily reconcile all suggestions. Makes a formerly tricky job painless and swift!
Was glitchy, now nonfunctional
The 5 star rating represents what I would give the app if it worked as intended. It used to work, but had some annoying glitches. Now it doesn’t open at all… just a blank screen. I can restart the app, restart the phone, re-install… does not work.
Terrible
Screen goes black as soon as I log in and can’t access anything. I am on iOS.
Does not work past login
Was hoping to check feedback from a client on the go. But blank screen after login does not change. Also website does not work on this phone.
Needs improvement
Not up to scratch. No quick login options. UI doesn’t load. Updates non-existent, I’d consider this an abandoned product.
Stop signing me out
The app doesn’t keep me signed in. I use a password manager so it’s a drag to have to go through the process of getting the password every time I just want to check in on a job while I’m away from the PC.
That combined with the fact I can’t show work in landscape makes me what to abandon this platform entirely.

Seek Alternatives
This app is unusable, the mobile browser version of their service is unusable & the desktop version has regular breakdowns that can go days without a fix.

Nothing works
Literally doesn’t work on my 10s max. Can’t see anything, upload, or collaborate. Pointless
Needs work
I had hoped to use Wipster from my mobile to remind me of the role footage to record and capture. I recorded a few notes from my desktop, hoping to play them from my mobile. But there is no audio. It’s difficult to advance between annotations if you have a lot of green dots on the timeline. This has potential to fill a need for mobile notations and feedback. But it is hobbled by an incomplete user interface.

Doesn’t do anything
I don’t understand what’s the use of this app. I was hoping I could see the comments left on my video but I cannot even see my video!
Update it for iPhone 11 Pro Max phones!
Please update the screen resolution for these bigger phones. It’s not taking up the whole screen.

Great to have this as a backup to the browser version. I can get to answer clients’ questions on videos assets reviewed
Features and function
App is really useless to be honest. No download button, review only but can’t even watch horizontal.
Not fit for professional use
What a pathetic app. Simply rehouses the web page. Can’t even view in landscape.
Very limited and currently not working properly
This app would be much better if it had more functionality like the website. It really should allow you to view a video in landscape. But now it doesn’t even show me my videos.
Fundamentally flawed
Still doesn’t have iOS 11 full resolution support. Can’t watch content in full screen or even landscape. Real shame given what a terrific tool Wipster is with an app that simply doesn’t do it justice.

Great to have the app option but continuous login and froze screen issues. Lack of horizontal player is a let down.

Also, once you’re in the support centre you can’t actually navigate back to the app. Once you’re there in you can’t even submit a request, hence why I’m writing a review here.

Better in browser
Loving Wipster...but the supporting app is immature, clunky and limited.
There appears to be no full screen mode (turning device has no effect)
The stats related to the video seem be only retrievable in browser.
You don’t get any iOS notifications about views or approvals.
Cannot seem to delete files or folders - or rename.
Forgets login and pass too easily - no Touch or Face unlocks.
Better to make a Safari bookmark and review things that way.
