This is such a cool app! I thought it was only for kids, but I’m in my 20’s having a great time chatting up these characters. It’s like having an imaginary friend who moved away but you still write to them. It’s got such a wholesome and pleasant aesthetic and language about itself that make this form of journaling lots of fun!

Cute app
I love this app! It is just the cutest thing! It always helps me breathe and feel better! The characters always know what to say and it’s very interactive!
Bad AI
I wanted to like this app because the goal is great but the execution is awful. There’s not a lot of explicit direction, the characters are so over the top it’s kind of hard to read their letters, and it’s so surface level while saying it’s got “heart”. I wrote asking why one of them was deathly afraid of raspberries and got back nonsensical and conflicting information. When I asked another character something, my letter was rejected for not having enough spunk and then I wrote the most over the top passive aggressive and mean letter and it accepted right away! There’s no nuance. It’s uncanny valley in the worst way.

Excellent to have for parents
Teaching your kids to have better writing skills and have more meaningful conversations with their family and friends. Learning to vocalize your emotions and feelings in a healthy, positive way is much needed in a society where children’s attention spans are getting shorter and shorter, and connection with others is similarly getting abbreviated.
