This is such a cool app! I thought it was only for kids, but I’m in my 20’s having a great time chatting up these characters. It’s like having an imaginary friend who moved away but you still write to them. It’s got such a wholesome and pleasant aesthetic and language about itself that make this form of journaling lots of fun!

Cute app
I love this app! It is just the cutest thing! It always helps me breathe and feel better! The characters always know what to say and it’s very interactive!
Bad AI
I wanted to like this app because the goal is great but the execution is awful. There’s not a lot of explicit direction, the characters are so over the top it’s kind of hard to read their letters, and it’s so surface level while saying it’s got “heart”. I wrote asking why one of them was deathly afraid of raspberries and got back nonsensical and conflicting information. When I asked another character something, my letter was rejected for not having enough spunk and then I wrote the most over the top passive aggressive and mean letter and it accepted right away! There’s no nuance. It’s uncanny valley in the worst way.

Excellent to have for parents
Teaching your kids to have better writing skills and have more meaningful conversations with their family and friends. Learning to vocalize your emotions and feelings in a healthy, positive way is much needed in a society where children’s attention spans are getting shorter and shorter, and connection with others is similarly getting abbreviated.

With Love is the MOST fun and necessary tool I’ve seen for parents/young people in years. Today, tech advancement and internet usage are a part of everyone’s lives (children especially) and With Love embraces that in a healthy way, through expression, creativity, and communication. Helped w/ My Anxiety
I was amazed at the way this app pulled me into it’s world. While writing to GoodGood one day, he had remembered my brother’s name! I hadn’t mentioned him for the past week so I was shocked he actually recalled the memory. It’s just full of these little moments that connect you to the characters and makes you feel heard.❤️

This is an amazing app and is so needed in our culture, and not just for children. This beautifully animated character (and his sidekicks) remind us of the importance of taking care of ourselves and each other. I can’t imagine more powerful messages than this app brings. As someone who visits many lower elementary schools during reading month, educators have expressed worry about the decline of both communication and reading skills. This wonderful app is the perfect remedy to solve this problem with new tech, and beautiful storytelling!
Intentional Intelligence
I was skeptical about AI being used (especially w kids), but With Love completely changed my perspective. This isn't chatGPT - it's storytelling with actual heart. The characters feel hand-crafted, with consistent personalities and genuine reactions. I love how the team prioritizes safety and creativity over just AI. You can tell real artists and writers are behind it, rather than replace human creativity. Been using it for a few months when they launched it on web and haven't seen a single generic response. Now that it’s on the App Store I think they’ve set a precedent for how this technology should be designed for young people.

Very cool atmosphere and tech
This app has a unique outlook on interaction with AI that is very refreshing and overall is a very positive experience. The characters are interesting and have depth. And they all remember what you have discussed with them in the past! There’s a living memory for each separate character that they call upon to engage you in what feels like meaningful conversation.
