Old app was better
I really like this brand and the lights were amazing. However, the new app is not as good as the old one.

Reset challenge
Old tablet controlling light died. Only got one of two lights reconnected. Second light will not rejoin group.

Honestly I don’t really care about led lights and feel like there are 100s of other options but I’m loyal. I like this one I wish there were more unique colors but it’s cool.
Why are you doing this to me, Wiz?
I used to love opening my Wiz (1.0) app at the end of the night and turning off my lights from the comfort of my bed. But now, I dread it. This app is so touchy that I want to throw my phone every time I try to dim my lamp but instead just fully swipe out of what I’m doing. We (I) want the old app back.

Two years strong!
So far so great!!
No longer working
I’ve had one of the lightbulbs that I use on my front porch for a couple years now. It’s been working great. I’m able to schedule a time for the light to come on in the light to go off. I’m able to adjust coloring as I’m able to add new color combos, everything‘s been great up until the last six months or so. The light no longer responds to the automation that I’ve created, and rather than turning off at a specific time the light stays on all day. I’ve tried to adjust the timing. I’ve deleted the automation. I’ve re-added the automation. I’ve signed out and I’ve signed back in, and finally I decided to use the automation of sunrise sunset. Well, that doesn’t work either and when I’ve tried to reset that up, it’s telling me that I have to choose a home location, which I already have and it’s already set. So I’m not really sure where to go from here and it’s quite aggravating.

Terrible
Such a terrible way to set these smart bulbs up. It only requires your entire internet and network security, knowledge of all your Bluetooth devices and your soul
Needless Migration
Why was this necessary, none of my lights are able to connect to the WiFi with this POS and they now no longer work with the old app.

When it works it’s great prone to poor pairing and large undertaking to trouble shoot. I wish the app had more functionality to conduct diagnostics to fix.
Connection
Where did we go from easy access remotes to terrible wifi connecting apps like this, have had multiple Phillips bulbs and it’s always a pain to connect they will end up stop working after a week eventually in a home and now that I’m in a hotel that does not have a wifi password it won’t connect in here and what’s worse is there’s no manual mode to just get the basic color settings, this app is terrible bring back easy remotes

Love the app. Easy to use and easy to set up. Works better than i expected
Yesterday’s Update
Since the app updated yesterday both bulbs I have in my home wouldn’t come back on line. Went in on the app and removed both bulbs and went back in to readd them and neither the smart pair or the manual pairing will work, both bulbs just start flashing red. I have zero problems out of them till yesterday’s update, I’m disabled so having things I can control off my phone is a must.

Nice, but
The Wiz App and lights are nice, but one thing that needs attention is when the power goes out during a storm, all of the lights come back on full blast. I mean the brightest ever, no matter what you had them set on. If Wiz has a workaround for that, please let me know.
Asking to update
Downloaded lates version yet it asking to update the app.. ridiculous
New app makes no sense
Loved the old WIZ app, it was very intuitive and I never had any problems. This new app is terrible, please keep the old app!
Update: the force to the new app is so glitchy and it keeps saying my lights aren’t connected. This never happened on the old app. Please can we go back to the old one?
