Bad app
Difficult app and not user friendly at all.
Very nice app, good UI and features
This application is great for setting up and configuring new WiZ lights (and probably more). I like that it walks you through the setup process.
There are a lot of cool features you can utilize once it is setup. It is quite intuitive, the app is very responsive, and it does what it needs to without a bunch of extra steps or menus, IMHO.

For the kids
The sunrise and sunset have replaced the sound of an alarm! It’s incredible
Disconnects often
Light disconnects often not letting me control it when it does it says check network connection like it’s my fault but everything else is working perfectly fine Xbox is fine tv is fine phone is fine no matter what at least 2 times a week I’m having to re connect it it’s getting really frustrating and I just want to throw it out the window into the trash

Not great
This app used to be great. Now all of the sudden, it doesn’t recognize that I’ve set my home location even though I’ve checked that it is indeed the right location. So my automations will not work. Please help.

Doesn’t work at all
I tried for an hour and a half to connect four outdoor lanterns, watched endless YouTube videos and only one lamp connected. The lamps are terrible to pair with wifi and this app is worse and there is no help available in chat at all. I would take them back if I could, but they have already been installed so I have white lamps forever.

I have a three arm light base I like to be able one day to use all three lights instead of just two lights
Confusing
I found the app incredibly confusing to set up a use. I just want to connect my lightbulbs to Apple home without another app getting in the way or buying another hub. Get to the point where I’m just gonna go back the old-fashioned lightbulbs.
Sending spam notifications
The app and system is fine, but the app has suddenly started sending spam messages about the Football World Cup. Maybe some people want random messages about special light scenes for when they cut their toenails, feed their pet snails, or some random sport event, please allow us to turn such spam off in the settings for good.

Insufficient Rights
Sooo sick of not being able to adjust settings because my partner used his phone to set up our lights. Understand, couples use this app independently. Please fix this. Please.

Wiz is so cool and fun. I love all the colors you can use. Also, it has “wake-up” and “nightlight” to help wake-up and go to sleep.
So far so good!
Just got this app in connection with a Philips smart bulb. I’ve tried and compared several systems already, including Eve and Tapo products. So far the Philips/Wiz combo has worked the best. The lights function smoothly and seamlessly, the appearance is great. But by far the deciding factor has been that Wiz has the simplest and easiest user interface, with minimal pop-up style distractions and visual clutter. Part of the reason I’m testing out systems is to find something that works for my aging parents; the simpler the better. If the appearance of the UI is too visually cluttered and intimidating, they won’t end up using it. I like that when you open Wiz there’s one button immediately front and center that lets you perform the essential functions. Good design! Solid products.
