Did anybody actually BetaTest this software?
Every time I’m forced to use this program, I’m reminded of how badly implemented it is. For one thing if you set up a very specific schedule for one of the lamps, and add a second lamp in the same room that you want to behave the same way you have to manually re-enter every step.
Also, if you add a new step, it’s just piled on top of the list so nothing is in chronological order and it quickly gets very messy and confusing
Now they have this feature where you can create rooms to control several lights at once… However, you cannot simply add your existing lights to this without going over to each bulb, unscrewing it from the fixture and scanning the QR code all over again. It’s just idiotic and frustrating..
They need to add the ability to copy and paste a schedule from one light to another , and the ability to rearrange the grouping of the lights into what they’re calling rooms without re-entering each bulb individually, they also need to add the ability to override a schedule temporarily… So for example, if you have guests over and you don’t want the lights to automatically dim at 10 PM, you can’t do this without going into some elaborate calendar to schedule when you want to turn the schedule off and back on again, it’s just stupid and ridiculous and that’s like they have no awareness of how people actually live…
