Terrible product

Terrible product, super complex to use

Makes life watering easy!

Needs fine tuning

You guys finally fixed the landscape mode on the iPad. Thank you.

Watering history is in the wrong menu. Home page or program page would make more sense as they are device specific. Also switching devices is a pain. Should be able to do that on any device specific tab.

Rain sensors

My system has multiple issues recognizing rain. Rain was in the forecast all week for today and it’s actually pouring on my home and my sprinkles are still running. I’d like a technical support rep to call me back and look into this.

Headache free

For a non green thumb, perfect

FAQ

What does the B-hyve app do?

The B-hyve app allows you to remotely control and monitor your smart sprinkler system from anywhere in the world. It offers smart watering features that use local weather data and plant information to create optimized watering schedules, helping to conserve water and reduce costs. You can also set custom watering programs and use an integrated irrigation audit tool.

How does the smart watering feature work?

When in smart watering mode, the app utilizes local weather data to determine watering needs. It accounts for evaporation, transpiration, and rainfall forecasts to adjust schedules automatically. It also considers factors like soil type, plant type, sun exposure, and slope to ensure efficient watering directly to the roots and prevent runoff.

Is the B-hyve app free to use?

The B-hyve app is free to download and use. However, it is designed to work with specific B-hyve smart sprinkler timers and Hydro-Rain B-hyve Pro controllers. While the app itself is free, the functionality is tied to the hardware purchase, and there may be in-app purchases for additional features or services.

What kind of devices is the B-hyve app compatible with?

The B-hyve app is compatible with the Orbit B-hyve Smart Wifi Sprinkler Timer and the Hydro-Rain B-hyve Pro Wifi Controller. It is designed for use on smart devices, allowing for remote control and monitoring of your sprinkler system.

Can I use the app if I prefer to set my own watering schedule?

Yes, the app offers a 'WeatherSense' feature that allows you to set custom programs for your watering schedule. While you have full control over how you want to water, this feature still leverages local weather data to override watering in case of rain, ensuring your system doesn't water unnecessarily.
