Easy to set up
System nice and easy to set up. Instructions on the app were really clear. No fuss.
The only problem that I’ve encountered is that the app does not let you skip the need to purchase or install a hub. You have to close the app down and restart to avoid this.

App Needs an update
I am currently using 2 of the Bhyve Gen 2 hose faucet irrigation controller/wifi units. I love them. I love being able to control everything with the app. WHAT I DON'T LOVE about the app, is you can't see and control multiple units together. Examples: The calendar will only show information 1 device at a time. You are unable to toggle between controllers. You must go all the way back HOME and switch to the other device. Then go back to the calendar to see that devices information.
You must do this for programming each device as well. You cannot toggle between devices to program. You must go back to HOME, switch the device, then back to program.
Under the My Bhyve tab you can see all of your devices but you are unable to tap on the device to do anything. You can't program units, no program info for what has been programmed, no watering info, no calendar, etc. You only see the device firmware, wifi connection, system on/off, etc.

Well, I’ll be honest with you. I’ve had a lot of lousy luck with sprinkler timers, but this one.
I have to admit I am super impressed with it a lot of options plenty of zones and zone programming options. so far using it all summer it has worked great. Highly recommend it.

Device Detail page missing on timers
The app force quits when trying to fix timer device detail page. Therefore, timer doesn’t really work through Wi-Fi. No remote access.
Best WiFi controller
I have three B-hyve controllers installed: two lawn controllers and one pump controller. Overall, the B-hyve system has been reliable, flexible, and much easier to use than Rachio. The app is straightforward, scheduling is simple, and making seasonal adjustments does not require digging through complicated menus. It also offers great features, including useful watering tools, weather-based adjustments, and convenient control from anywhere. For the features provided, B-hyve is a better value than Rachio, especially for larger systems or homeowners managing multiple zones.
My main wish is for better integration between controllers. I would like to trigger the pump controller whenever any zone on either lawn controller is activated. At present, coordinating the pump and irrigation zones requires extra planning, and automatic communication between the controllers would make the system even more convenient and dependable. Adding this feature would eliminate a major limitation and make B-hyve an even stronger choice for homeowners who need affordable, capable, and easy-to-use irrigation control.

Excellent Home irrigation system
Purchased 4 years ago and still going strong. 4 zones and automatic timer. I control everything from my phone. It even notifies me if there is a delay because of rain. It’s a must for our extreme summers.

Super helpful app to be able to control the 16 zones on our irrigation system.
Has a rather big bug…beware
If you have a personal weather station or even if you want to change to another official one, too bad - you can’t. It won’t save. It always reverts to the one it picked for you. Tried everything, chatted with help multiple times, no luck. Most people probably leave that option alone and use as is, and in that case the rest of the app works great. But if you live far enough away from whatever station it picks for you, you’re screwed.

Drops Wi-Fi
Since installing this system it has dropped WiFi over 15 times. While signal was strong throughout the only 3 devices in the home.

It’s been two seasons with B-Hyve. I’ve never been happier.
It simply works. Easy to set. Easy to adjust. Very responsive to changing multiple valves at once or individually.
There are features I’ve not used yet but the many I have I am pleased and would recommend.

Ok but not great
Has a bad habit of not communicating issues until you notice your plants are dry and dying. Needs new batteries, software update both triggered no watering
Set it and forget it!
We live in the desert. So, a missed day of watering could mean a big loss of plants. B-hyve has never let me down.

Really great to use and easy
B-hyve phone control of zones
Absolutely love to be able to control individual zones when doing sprinkler work. Great time saver and also great to be able to water dry areas during drought summer. Can do while sitting on porch or driving in your car!
The app need an overhaul
The app barely works. It often doesn’t recognize whether or not it is connected to the device and the devices themselves have lots of problems too. Certainly not worth what they are charging.
