Can be frustrating
too many annoying same advertising videos til you get to the news story. !! Many headlines repeated with old news …
No Data
I have had this app for over 3 weeks now and every time I click a notification is tells me there is no data. I have tried over and over again to get data to pop up. Also anytime I open the app I get ads.
Fail on app..
While I’m trying to pull up individual stories, reverts back to home page. Takes several times.. same with my wife’s phone. I removed and replaced APP twice.. still does it..
Automatic videos
I rated this so low because whenever you click on a story link, you get an advertisement video. Most of the time I don’t want a video at all, but prefer to read the articles and then if I want the video to click on it. When the video comes on immediately, you may have to stop it or terminate it right away as it can be loud or distracting to others . There is no real way to stop the auto advertisement so it will start immediately. I absolutely hate this and will not use this app because of this.

Storm coverage and unbiased news
WJCL is distinguishing itself from the other networks in the last couple years. The weather is spot on and you can find stories covered by WJCL that other local networks don’t touch. It’s a nice change.

Repeat
The biggest disappointments you repeat & repeat & repeat same stories. With Hearst in ownership truth will never come out. They pretty much own newspapers, tv & news broadcasting. No competition means same old same old. That is why Americans no longer trust the news! Lies, lies, lies!
Pics don’t match story
I use an iPad and every day there are multiple pictures that do not have the story to match it. It’s maddening and is just sloppy website work. The content is good but has typos more often than it should, but not every day
WJCL weather app.
I liked the app in the beginning, about a year ago, but now I continually have trouble using it! I especially have difficulty accessing the interactive radar. I just downloaded WSAV to see if it’s more user friendly and accurate!
Drained
The app continues to run in the background after closing.
It doesn’t work anymore
I used to enjoy this app, but after the last update I can’t even open it anymore. I will delete since I have no use for it anymore!
Seen Better Days, Needs Tech support
This used to be a great news app. Recently since the last upgrade some news stories won’t download and locks your screen up so you can’t go back to last page. You have to get out of the app completely and delete it in hopes of it rebooting. Download the app again and go back in and it still malfunctions.
I have no problem with the WTOC or WSAV news app. They work fine. So until WJCL gets their app functioning properly I’ll be watching “The Other Guys” to keep me informed of the news and weather.

Very poor
Very poor graphics. It may be interactive, but I can’t it to do anything. Maybe something that looks more like the map on TV. Why won’t it move.
Trustworthy reporting. Thus my GoTo app especially when traveling.

Poor Updates Timing
This app is pitiful. It is July 7. The main story is the fireworks celebration from July 4 and the weather has not been updated since July 5.
Informative and very easy to navigate though with ease.
Enjoy reading the up to date news and weather reports for Savannah and the Low Country each morning and afternoon.
Good App, but...
Take away the feature that tries to geolocate users- I use the app when I am out of the area to moniter news and weather back in the Savannah area - not to get info about where ever I may be at the moment of use.
Could be better...
I use the App to watch the local news. The station’s website is NOT CURRENT with the News Team personnel. There is one Reporter who has been there for over a year, and STILL is not listed on the website. The station needs someone to keep the site current.
