You guys should be ashamed
This is an upper management failure. This poor young lady is put in a position to be broadcast when she is struggling to communicate. She needs to be coached and recorded with a satisfactory rendition made as a broadcast. I’m not blaming her. If she aspires to this career she needs to improve her speaking. Management needs to groom her so that we the listening audience…your customers and sponsors get something of a professional product. This is not kosher during hurricane season for your station to put a product like I just witnessed on the market. I don’t want to be critical of her but she has a lot of work to do before I put trust in her words if I can comprehend them and that forecast. You guys should have edited that and it should have never made the air

No sound
I downloaded this app to keep up with the weather. I get weather alerts that directs me to a video and then the videos have no sound. It would nice to have an alert that you can read and not just videos.
Was once the best weather app.
Greed has taken over. App is useless. Constant pop up ads. Annoyingly dangerous during severe weather.
Used to be good
Used to be a good app, now radar runs 10 min behind where the rain actually is, plus the new smoothing effect they put on it shows rain where there is non, what happened to the good old days of having a live radar scan that showed a real image even if not pretty looking because real weather is not a smooth line

We watch channel 7 News and Weather everyday. We have our morning coffee watching WJHG channel 7 News and Weather every morning. The people on the News and Weather are just as great group of people.

I don’t think the alerts should be sent out unless they are really necessary. Just because you update the forecast is not the reason for an alert. An alert is necessary when a weather system indicates that the population needs to prepare for its impact.

Great app but it’s simple and I cannot delete locations. The 24h radar also times out at 12h half of the time

Too many unnecessary notices
The notices are for anything weather related. Not just warnings. Annoyed by mundane forecasts for temperature changes etc
Also entering the app after a notice I have wait several seconds while advertising completes.
Bottom line, notify me when there is danger, don’t force me to wait for long advertisements

Why does the WJHG news app have a button for weather that forces you to download another app just for weather? I came from a large city and the news here looks like it is run by high school students who don’t care. There is always an audio or video problem EVERY night they broadcast.
Too confusing
This app too confusing to use .too many steps to go anywhere in the app, radar moves too fast on screen should be able to slow it down to track movements closer. It is needed in severe weather. Like in former weather info on WJHG

There was nothing wrong with the old app that had news and weather combined. The new weather app is horrible. I hate the way it’s setup. I never used my TWC (the weather channel) app because it’s set up the same way but since the WJHG app is a clone of TWCs app now I might as well delete this one. I don’t need two weather apps that I hate. You ever heard the saying “if it ain’t broke then break it”? No? Because that isn’t how the saying goes. See ya later WJHG 👋

Excellent information given but probably too many updates in the day. Wish it was just as needed for inclement weather rather than just a forecast often.
Gloomy picture—why?
Love using the app but why does it have to have such a gray, rainy picture on the opening screen? This is the Sunshine State!
