With YouTube TV dropping my local lifetime news channel, I was preparing to make a wholesale change to the WLWT app, TV station, and all. Unfortunately, this app’s text is too small for me to read and unlike my old app doesn’t seem to have a way to adjust the text size. Oh well. Back to my tried and true I guess …

Downhill
Your app is going downhill with less frequent updates / stories that linger for days. The recent change to force the user back to the top whenever will be the end of using this app for me if you do not fix this. 👎
Too many interruptions
The app interrupts the day too many times. It is only necessary to get the biggest breaking stories.
Also, the app is way too loud. When using the app, the volume is so much higher in volume than other apps to where it is disruptive. I am considering just removing it from my phone.

Channel 5 IS the only news I watch 🥰
I have been watching channel 5 since I was in high school 66’ that’s almost 60 years. I check on other channels but always come at to watch channel 5. Great service to Tri-State.

Stopped notifying me
I used to like this app. But I stopped receiving notifications about the weather and I can’t seem to fix it… I have spent too much time in the app and in iPhone settings trying to figure it out. I deleted the app and reinstalled it… still, no notifications…
Scaring People with Weather
Why do the first five headlines always have to be about the weather? Can there be some actual news posted, too?
Unwanted Notifications
I enjoy the app. I do NOT enjoy the numerous notifications I did not ask for. In settings I have only selected severe weather and traffic, but I get random news notifications several times a day. Toggled on then off and I’m still getting them. Had to turn off ALL notifications to get them to stop. Is it really ALL or NOTHING?

Latest updates have major flaws
The last few updates for this app have made it less usable than before. I’m frequently sent back to the main menu every time I click on an article to read. I may be on an article for like only 15 to 30 seconds before the main menu is reloaded. I hope they can fix this issue soon because I wonder if the app is no longer usable on older phones. I have an iPhone 11 if it helps the developer.

App has become unusable…
Every time I click an article, it returns me to the main page automatically after about 20-30 seconds. Hope they fix it sometime.
Crashes
App crashes nearly every time I use it.
App crashes and news articles close before you’re done reading
App is always crashing, open a news story and it goes back to the Home Screen or goes back to the top of the news area and you have to scroll through all the articles again until you get to the one you were trying to read. Radar map also won’t stay but, it auto closes and goes back to the home news screen.
