WMM PAL is an application that uses the World Magnetic Model developed by NOAA to determine magnetic declination accurately at any specified location on Earth. It has been updated with modern Swift and SwiftUI tools.
The app uses the World Magnetic Model from NOAA, which is designed for very accurate determination of magnetic declination at any latitude, longitude, and elevation globally.
WMM PAL is supported on iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices. It was originally developed using Objective-C and has been upgraded to Swift and SwiftUI.
WMM PAL is a paid application, priced at $2.99. There are no advertisements within the app.
The latest version, V6.2, was last updated on March 26, 2026. The app was originally released on July 11, 2015.

No, WMM PAL does not contain advertisements. It is a paid application that offers its features without interruption from ads.
The description does not explicitly state offline capabilities, but the core function of calculating magnetic declination based on location data suggests it may require an internet connection for real-time data retrieval or model updates. However, the World Magnetic Model itself is a dataset that can potentially be used offline.
