They never load

Even on WiFi. All three signals just keep buffering.
This app would be a game changer if it actually worked.

Has never worked. Useless.

I have never had this app connect to the cameras. Never loads.

Nothing

App won’t load any cameras. Too bad it’s aggravating because the train situation is such a hassle.

Great concept but app just spins

Not working

What is the latest development on recifying the issues with this app? To date nothing has been corrected
Thx

Kind of worthless

This app never loads and I can’t be the only one.

Doesn’t work

The cameras on this app do NOT work

Just doesn’t work!!

It doesn’t work at all!

Does not work on my iPad, period.

This is an update to my original review from April. It’s now the middle of August, and what I wrote in April still stands:

1) works slowly, but ok, on my Android phone

2) has not displayed a single frame of video on my iPad.

And no response here from the developer since April. Dropping my initial review from 2 to 1 star because 0 is not an option. Will also avoid other apps from this developer…

Original review follows…

At its best, this would be a useful app, even with the limitation that only one camera can be displayed on the screen at a time. I’m able to use the Android version with my phone, but this version from the Apple App Store has not displayed a single video frame on my iPad in my attempts to use it. All I see is the spinning ‘buffering’ indicator. (I’m running at home right now with rock solid, speedy wi-fi, so there should be no connection problem - all of my other internal apps are running normally.) Is it really necessary to slowly type out the camera location identifier before starting to load the camera? When starting up or switching between the Allen Rd and Van Horn cameras, getting that picture up quickly is vital - we’re driving in our cars, and need to have this information to make a decision on which way to go. I’m hoping for the best long-term, but the early effort is quite disappointing.

What happened to this app?

This app used to work great but the “enhancement” DOESN’T work. Slow loading & constant circling if it does come up. Why did you ruin a very useful tool?

Never works

I’ve had the app on my phone for a few months. During this time I’ve attempted to open the app on multiple occasions. Each time I get a spinning circle and the camera view does not load.

App doesn’t load!

I’m going back to the link to the cameras. Deleted this app. Useless.

Basically non-functional

Cameras take a comically long time to load. (My phone is an Apple 12, for the record.) Today we booted it up BEFORE leaving the house, but the Van Horn camera still had the spinning “loading” symbol when we made it to Van Horn to discover that there WAS in fact, a train there. Finally the camera loaded a good 5 minutes after we booted the app - and if we change the camera, the loading begins anew. And why doesn’t the old website work anymore? We’ve gone backwards to having no way to view the trains again.

Doesn’t work

Cameras never load. Hard to check traffic when you can’t even see the cameras

Won't load

The website one worked so much better. This will not load for me AT ALL!! I use these numerous times a day (well, used to) Very frustrating.

App

The application it self Great for navigation around the trains, but it is extremely slow or does not come up at all. Hopefully they can tap into the old camera system they used for this project to help possibly make the application more manageable.

Very useful

It takes a while for the camera feeds to load and then it’s a bit glitchy, but it’s a great idea!

Hopeful

I understand there’s an app for everything but this app needs lots of improvement. I got it to work once. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling which didn’t help.
