Let me preface this review by saying that I only use the app against the computers and not against other people. I’ve tried websites that claim to allow you to upload screenshots but either won’t give you the highest scoring word or can’t read the screenshot, and I’ve tried the different word unscrambler pages too. I love that this app does both. I also love that it will automatically delete the screenshots as you upload them so as to not bog down my photos.
One thing I will say is that it isn’t ALWAYS accurate, so keep that in mind. It might give you a 6 letter word for 35 points but you could play a 7 letter word for 87 points. But between having the power meter turned on and using power ups like “word spy”, you can see when it’s not accurate and figure it out for yourself. So all in all, it’s a pretty great app, and I’m definitely going to recommend it.

Only Ads
Every single time I use the app I get ads! I can make sense of it was like it used to be when was an advertisement here and there. But now it’s an advertisement every time I open it. Ugh 😩
Greed is rampant
It used to be a normal app, but then they updated it so you have to give them full permission to all of your photos, they don’t need my photos only the screenshot…it’s my data not yours and you can’t have it.

The free version app was glitchy and the ads literally went on forever, so I paid to be ad free. Now the app doesn’t really work at all. It won’t and I have tried multiple ways, including deleting and reloading the app. Don’t pay for this

Responsive Team
The had a hiccup and just stayed in search mode. I reported this and the problem was fixed within 48 hours. They also sent emails keeping me informed of what was being done. There aren’t many app support teams that are this good.

Locks up
App is not working. Put in word and it locks up. Close it out and reopen it and it works. Then it keeps doing it and you have to do the same thing
