Has become more frustrating than fun
I enjoyed the game for a while, but the fun started fading once the puzzles began repeating. Now, it feels like most of them are just recycled versions I’ve already seen.
One major frustration is the placement of the coin button. For some asinine reason, it’s positioned right next to the letter tiles instead of somewhere out of the way. If you have larger fingers like I do, it’s far too easy to accidentally tap the coin when you’re just trying to select a nearby letter. I’ve wasted a lot of coins this way, which is incredibly annoying.
Some of the quad matches also feel like a stretch, and there are some real issues with spelling. In one puzzle, for example, “able” was the anchor word and “desire” was one of the base words—but the supposed match was “desireable.” That’s not even a correct spelling. “Desirable” doesn’t have an “e” after the “r.”
Once I’ve used up—or accidentally spent—all the coins I currently have, I’ll be uninstalling the app.

Cannot get it off of my phone
Cannot get out of the game my screen is stuck on the game and I cannot leave the game as soon as I get out of this. I will delete this game and never try it again.
Annoying
Kept interrupting my podcast, was being very annoying 😡😤🍅

Thank you for reporting a concern about podcast interruptions. We’ve tried to reproduce this issue, but haven’t observed WORD DUO interrupting sound in apps like Apple Podcasts or YouTube. Could you please let us know what podcast app are you using and also whether or not the issue persists if you turn off the sound effects in the WORD DUO app. Sound effects is the first item you see when you access the Menu screen in WORD DUO. Thanks for your help.
Fun and challenging!
This game is both a lot of fun to play but also challenging. Makes me use both my mind and my humor and past knowledge. Sometimes it helps being an “older” player as I remember some of the quotes 🥴
Addictive (in a nutshell)
I don’t usually write reviews however, once you grasp the concept of this game, you’ll find yourself thinking “Just one more puzzle “!
