My water day is stuck on 24 February of last year and will not move and I’m paying for it! Please advise!
Every time i look at this app the same words show
I understand that in order to keep developing an app you have to bring in money be it through ads or a subscription based service but the amount of ads in this app is just way to often and the ads are way to long. As being new to the app I wanted jump around from word to word and every time you click on a new word you have to sit through a 30+ second ad which makes it extremely hard to get into a rhythm or better yet to hold my interest on wanting to stay in the app. This app lasted around 5 minutes on my phone before I’d had enough with waiting for the next word to explore. Long push and delete..

Don’t pay for premium; app freezes, must be downloaded again, purchase not restored

Stopped working for the last few days. unable to get it to work
The app stoped working a couple days ago. I payed for a year and having it stop working mid way is not something that is right.
The app would be a lot more resourceful and useful if there wasn’t an ad after every word you decide to view. It makes you not want to be on it with the excessive amount of ads throughout the use of this app
I want to love this app but just can’t get past the terrible, robotic pronunciation.
Greed too much ads
So boring it’s like reading the dictionary. with a continuous ad to buy the pro version of the app I’m not interested in the pro version. The free version is so boring.
I frequently get 50% or less on the quizzes because you only give us 30 seconds to read and answer 10 questions - that’s 3 seconds allotted to each question. Get rid of the timer.
It would be nice if I could hear someone sound out the work for correct-pronunciation or meaning
It would be awesome to have a widget feature where I can just see a word and its definition on my home screen without having to open the app.
The app has way too many glitches and way too few features. The quizzes sometimes have incorrect answers labeled as correct, and at least once there were no answer choices at all. It would really mess up my 100% streak, if there was a streak counter (there isn’t). I don’t recommend.
The words given are out dated and would be unrealistic to use in everyday conversations. “Roly-poly”, “zhuzh”, “spelldown”, “skullduggery”, “twee”, “bully pulpit”??? These words won’t improve vocabulary or make you more articulate. Useless, out dated, unrealistic to use words.
It was worth 5 when it started but dropped in my estimation because it no longer carries Brittanica which I used to look forward to learning. I do hope it will return
I enjoy learning the new words and phrases in this app. I wish the time on the quizzes could be adjusted. It is annoying that it is only 60 seconds.
Epic
unrealistic
