great but...

actually, I sent you a request about this. I have a long document and all of a sudden punctuation is going into the it gets very strange. The only solution is to download it and put it in word and correct it I asked about two weeks ago for a response. ???

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! It is a total rip off!!!!!

I bought this program more than a year ago. It was ok, but NOW they are trying to force you to pay a monthly fee for their “AI” feature. You cannot access your existing documents or make any new documents, unless you buy the AI feature! TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!!!

Misleading

This app was listed everywhere for best free note taking and essay writing, but now you are forced to have a subscription because they added AI. Completely useless. I should have the option to use the application without AI and having a subscription.

Disappointed

Used to be a great app, had it since 2016 and paid for the full version, unlimited docs and all tools. Summer 2025 they update the app and make its subscription based for 3$ a month and removed my access. Tried contacting them to atleast get access back to my docs but 5 emails later and still no response. I refuse to pay a monthly subscription to something I already paid for that only got casual use.

Buyer beware: subscription required

Not interested in the AI features. Three bucks a month? Not interested.

Overall tops!

This is a great word processor. I really like the capacity to use the arrows to move around up down sideways to right where I wanna be. I’m still in a little bit of a learning curve, but generally, it really works for me. I highly recommend it for iPad use..

Bought it outright years ago; no access to the files I created

Bought it before subscription became a synonym for protection racket. Now the program is holding my work hostage behind an AI subscription that I don’t want, guarded by a popup that can’t be dismissed. The simpler version of the app is still in the AppStore, but crashes on launch.

Bullet Points

I have been using this app for about a year and it is quite good. My issue is that I have not been able to find bullet points. When I have asked this question I have not received a response.

I never received a response to my query.

Additional comment - I paid to use this app, but it no longer allows access to my documents, and just keeps demanding more money.

Froggy Daddy

I had the same problem. I’m in a hurry. I need to get my Textilus pro files downloaded to the computer so I can print them out, and I couldn’t even log onto my app because of a freaking AI request upgrade. page showed up that I couldn’t get rid of!!! I’m just about ready to trash the whole app and start with somebody else. I’ll give you guys one more chance, you put me back on the upgrade that I had previously before this AI junk came on, or I resign and request my money back.

VERY DISAPPOINTED / DON’T PURCHASE!!!

I have a several documents saved and I already payed once for access to the app now it wants me to pay again. Well, I would rather have a colonoscopy before I give this app money again.

Scam

I’ve asked them to cancel my membership because I downloaded the wrong app, they ignored me and charged me.

Wish I could leave ZERO stars

I purchased the Pro version years ago. Like most of the recent reviewers have stated, when I try to open the app, I’m informed I’ve reached my document app limit as a free user. That’s bull. I want the features I actually paid for, no more and no less. They can keep their AI subscription model, but return functionality to paying customers. I will be reporting the app and the developers to the App Store and urge others to do the same.

Can’t get past free trial splash screen.

Would love to look around the app a bit before I decide to even try the 3 day free trial, but alas; there are zero ways to get past that screen unless I sign up for the 3 day free trial, which I refuse to be forced into trying. Uninstalled.

Práctica

Excelente muy bueno.

Messed up typing frustrating

Constantly while typing the cursor will show in the write spot but as you type the typing the letters are placed in the front of the sentence while the cursor is in the end of the sentence. When hit return at the beginning of the sentence it moves the wrong sentence very frustrating..

Rip Off !

I can’t use or even OPEN it now . I bought the unlimited use Pro version years ago.
Now it’s worthless! It’s actually not even worth 1 star but there’s no 0 to choose instead.

Ransom scam

The developer recently wrecked this app in a recent update. As soon as you go into the app it hit’s you with a free trial offer for three days, you can’t choose not to accept the offer, you have to accept the offer if you want to use the app. After 3 days the offer comes back up and you need to click the offer again, but this time you’ll need to pay the asking price to use the app. What’s worse is the developer seems to have made it so you can’t retrieve your documents from the files app for this app anymore. Making this move from the developer feel like extortion that should be illegal if it isn’t already (unfortunately consumers don’t get anywhere near as much legal protection as they should when it comes digital goods. I paid an up front price for this app specifically because I didn’t wanna pay a subscription. I understand apple is encouraging this greedy subscription only business model in it’s developers, I think it’s apples strategy to continue making trillions of dollars now that the computer revolution is coming to an end. Understand it must be pretty easy for developers to be bitten by this greed bug and go over to the dark side with Apple and there subscription only strategy. However there is a way to go about it, you don’t have hurt the people who already paid you, if you want to try being a legalized crook with Apple fine! But you don’t need to steal from the people who already paid you and helped you make a living to do it, you should at least have the decency to leave those people alone.
When most developers go to the subscription only Dark-side they usually end support for there paid apps but leave them still available and downloaded for the customers that already bought them. Then they take there paid apps off the App Store and basically relaunch them as subscription only apps back onto the App Store, so that the customers that already purchased the paid apps will not receive any updates, but will still have access to what they paid for.
Most developers aren’t as evil as this one, that seems to have intentionally locked the private content they created in the app by taking complete access away from the app, (again you can’t even extract your own content from this app through the files app anymore, which doesn’t feel like an accident since there is also no longer any other way to get your content out of it without paying) I have no idea whether it’s actually illegal or not , but this really does feel like a ransom scam.

Disappointed and stranded

It used to be a 5, now I get a new phone and it wants me to subscribe! WORSE THAN I THOUGHT- they are trying to extort money just to have access to documents because they added AI. I don’t care what they added, those documents were written BEFORE THEY HAD AI. I have reported them to Apples fraud team. I believe it’s extortion to hold someone’s property until they pay a fee. I paid a “ lifetime” membership! I should at least be able to move my documents out to another place. Two were books I was working on, there was medical information, things that can’t be replaced. And you can bet I will report this company to everyone I can think of that deals with cyber crime.

Unconscionable

Upon searching for documents saved on my phone I discovered that this app is denying me access unless I pay to subscribe. Apparently, in this climate, it is becoming acceptable(legal?) to rip people off.

Denying Access to Documents

What is happening? How can this app deny access to files? AI addition is being used as a toll, and that’s not okay.
