Terrible, expensive game
After paying $10, I tried to play this game. It's a terrible app that I thought would help me in my word retrieval difficulties. Well, that sure was a waste of $10 because it was difficult to use, not responsive to my answers and didn't really help me grow in word finding.
Great app - speech therapist here
This has been a great app for my 2nd-4th grade students. They feel like they are playing a game and love the competition.
A couple things I wish it had that I haven't noticed.
1. A final score page at the end for the kids to see who won. They don't care about their percentages of questions right but the score they got when picking the numbers.
2. More questions available. It seems limited with the amount of questions in each category.
3. A way to pick questions so each kid has different ones. A lot of times when in a group the kids will get the same question and know the answer right away if they were paying attention.
A great app!

Good for engaging older kids
I use this app with my older kids and they seem to really like it. The jeopardy portion in particular makes for good peer interaction during group sessions. I wish there were more questions or an option to make questions harder for the kids who breeze through the activities.
Meets some objectives for expressive language goals
Completing sentences with relevant vocabulary works for younger and more severe students. Would be great to have the option of various strategies for word retrieval choices, e.g. Picture choices, initial sound heard, etc. Also would be great to have access to target word lists.
Word Retrieval
Still waiting to see if it will hook in a teenager: solid content, weak visual appeal
SLP DODEA
i have used this app with both the pediatric and the geriatric population. They just love it. It is great for keeping your data too!
Not impressed
I am not impressed with this app. I think it would be better if it were tied to the common core standards and categorization. This app doesn’t help my students much at all and I don’t use it much anymore.

Students enjoy the game format for this app. I like the flexibility of selecting specific targets for multiple students.
Great app
This is a great app to help children and adults with word-retrieval skills. I love the jeopardy style game aspect of the app because it makes learning fun!
Variety of activities
There are a variety of language activities but I would love to see it adapted or modified to allow users to not only have incorrect and correct, but another option for responses that may be an approximate but not completely the answer... Addition of 3-4 picture choices would be a nice option to use when working with children with severe communication deficits.

Not worth the money
Although there are lots of pictures and options in this app, the voice providing the stimulus cue is terrible...very robotic, no natural inflection which reduces the cuing for the client.

Boring and confusing to use. Worth maybe $1.99, definitely not the $9.99 I already wasted my money on.
Hard to use
Not very user friendly
