Really cool app for vocab building
This is a vocabulary application and must be judged as such, and is great for that purpose. It is not intended to teach every little detail about grammar and usage, so you'll need to supplement your studying with additional study and resources, however that can be said of any language application. Nevertheless, there is a use for filling your brain with the raw materials and basic building blocks of a language in this manner, in my opinion and considering the amount of content and number of languages I'd say the value for the money is here (up to you and I to put in the time and effort!). That being said, there is ample content (about 6,000 words per language) for a nice selection of languages and it's well-organized into levels and broken into bite-sized pieces for ease of digestion (as opposed to "here's a dictionary, have at it."). The words have all been recorded by native speakers, which is also a nice feature compared to some apps that use a subpar digital voice. There was a minor hiccup after purchasing my subscription, which seems to be a fairly common complaint in the reviews, but it was resolved within about 48 hours which is practically nothing compared to a lifetime subscription (and I was able to study in the meantime regardless), so all in all, cool app and hopefully the subscription bugs can be laid to rest permanently soon!

Thanks for your great review :-) Yes, Worddio is a vocabulary builder and it aim is to help only to expand user's vocabulary. If someone wants to learn grammar, the best way is to doing with a teacher.
Goes back to home screen when I click on it
It always goes back to the home screen when I try to use the app. I was very excited to learn French on it, but now I am kind of disappointed. 🙁 Is it my IPad’s fault or the apps fault?

Please write us to hello@worddio.com and we will try to help you! We fix the problem and upload a new version. The problem is that your iOS is lower version than 14.0. If you want to fix the problem now just update your iOS to 14 or higher or wait to update with new version of Worddio.
