Good game, responsive developer

I appreciate the developer keeping the game updated and being responsive to feedback. I was experiencing a weird bug, and he looked into fixing it. It might have been a random glitch. This is a well-designed game, it’s definitely worth downloading. It’s strategic and a fun vibe too. And no data collection or IAP. Thank you, developer!

Hey WRS15743, I'm really sorry you ran into that! I've been trying to reproduce the sticker issue you're seeing, but haven't had any luck yet. Could you shoot me an email at harish@roadtrip.dev? It might be tied to a specific build you played or using blank tiles. I'd also genuinely love to hear any other feedback you have. If I can get this sorted, I hope you'll consider updating your review!

Some stickers don’t work

Although this game is overall enjoyable and well done, there is a bug where certain stickers don’t let you use them. For example, a sticker that lets you enhance a couple letters; you drag the letters to the board, but when you drag to use the sticker, you can’t use it, you can only sell it. This happened so many times with different stickers that I deleted the game. It used to work fine, so I know it’s not me.

Also, when using a blank/wild tile, I wish it would let you pick what letter you want it to be; it doesn’t always pick the best letter.

Hopefully these issues get fixed sometime, because it would be a great game otherwise. Certainly it’s a good premium game at a fair price with no tracking, so I applaud that.

Good idea but misses the mark

I wanted to like this because I like word games and I like Balatro. Unfortunately they left out things that make Balatro more fun and added too much stuff that distract from the game. I don’t even need it to be so much like Balatro which would be fine, but this is like a not great attempt of making a scrabble plus Balatro game.

Sorry for the delay! Thanks for checking out the game. If you're open to giving it another shot, would love to hear more about what feels distracting at harish@roadtrip.dev. Still working on making things feel more cohesive.

Very challenging

I love the game but I feel ( as a well practiced and proficient word game player ) that the difficulty level is set rather too high for true enjoyment . I’ve not yet managed to get through the novice level . It would put lots of players off. Rules are easy to pick up as the other reviewer stated . But the game is currently too challenging .

So excited to see this game on the App Store! Simple idea implemented really well with lots of mechanics to explore. Looking forward to getting really good at this one
