About

Workout Insight turns the workouts already in Apple Health into a dashboard you will actually read. Every run, ride, walk, strength session and yoga class you record with Apple Watch or any app that writes to Apple Health becomes trends, streaks, records and heart rate zones, with nothing to log by hand. DASHBOARD - Pick a week, month, year or all time and see workouts, active time, active energy, distance, average heart rate and active days, each with the change against the previous period. - A trend chart for time, energy, distance or workout count. Tap any bar to inspect it. - A weekly activity goal ring, your current day and week streaks, and how your training splits across activities. INSIGHTS - Personal records: longest workout, most energy, farthest distance, fastest pace or top speed, overall and per activity. - When you train: a weekday-by-hour heatmap of your training habits. - Year over year: this year's monthly training beside last year's. - Consistency: active days per month for the last twelve months. - Activity trends: weekly time, distance, pace or speed and heart rate for any activity. EVERY WORKOUT IN DETAIL - Duration, active and total energy, distance, pace or speed, and average, maximum and minimum heart rate. - A heart rate chart with your zones drawn behind it, and the time you spent in each of the five zones. - Source, device, location and weather details. CALENDAR AND HISTORY - A calendar that colors each day by its main activity and by how long you trained, so streaks and rest days stand out. - A searchable history grouped by day, filtered by activity and sorted by date, duration or energy. MADE FOR YOU - Kilometres or miles; calories, kilocalories or kilojoules. - Set your maximum heart rate and the five zones follow. - Light, dark or system appearance. Designed for iPhone and iPad. - Forgot your watch? Add a workout by hand and it is saved to Apple Health. WORKS WITH APPLE HEALTH Workout Insight reads workouts, heart rate, energy and distance from the Health app. It records nothing itself, so it works with every source that saves to Apple Health, whether that is your Apple Watch, a treadmill, a bike trainer or another fitness app. PRIVACY Your health data stays on your device. No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. Every feature is free; a tip jar in Settings is the only purchase, and it is optional. Workout Insight requires iOS 17 or later and permission to read workout data from the Health app.
