Just a long shot

Hi Workout Writer Team,First of all, thank you for building a great platform. I really enjoy using Workout Writer to design and manage my training sessions.I am reaching out to see if you have ever considered expanding your functionality or integration to support WorkOutdoors, which is a highly popular advanced workout and navigation app for the Apple Watch. Many runners and outdoor athletes use WorkOutdoors because of its customizable data screens, offline maps, and interval scheduling capabilities. Having a way to seamlessly transfer or export workouts designed in Workout Writer directly into WorkOutdoors (such as via file formats like FIT, TCX, or GPX, or a direct integration) would create an incredible workflow for Apple Watch users. Are there any current plans or possibilities to explore compatibility with WorkOutdoors in a future update? I know myself and many others in the fitness community would absolutely love to see this happen.Thank you for your time and for continuously improving the app!
Best regards dynafish

Response from developer

Hi dynafish - thanks so much for the feedback. I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying using the app for your training sessions! WorkOutdoors is a great Apple Watch app, that I've used a fair bit. I believe that it currently doesn't support importing structured workouts, but it sounds like that may be coming in the near future. Exporting from Workout Writer to a range of different file formats is definitely something that we want to implement, so we'll try to get that done so it is ready for when WorkOutdoors does support it. Leave it with us and we'll see what we can do! Thanks again, and best of luck with the training! ~SB

Off to a great start

Really liking this app so far. I mostly wanted something simple for creating my own run workouts without digging through a million menus, and this does that really well. You can just type workouts out normally and it figures it out. Sending them to the Apple Watch is easy too. Clean app, works well, no complaints.
